Let me start off by saying, the customer service is excellent, and the food was fresh and super good, you can tell they really love their customers, just the over all quality of everything is amazing will be a continuous customer. Definitely take the chance and give this place a shot you will become a regular.
I noticed a comment from a desi woman who said the food wasn't spicy and so she Assumed and felt the need to write that SOI was "catering to the Americans," which is something only "certain" women say... Those of us who are Indian or who enjoy Indian culture know that Northern Indian food is Not spicy as is Southern Indian food. I guess she is not Indian at all and just speaking out of turn. Star of India has been delivering delicious Northern Style Indian food for years ππΌ and I for one, am ever grateful for it. Thank you so much and special thanks to the wonderful Ephraim ππΌβΊοΈ NamastΓ©
So this was my first time trying Indian food, and it was definitely a really good experience, from great waiters to amazing food!! The lamb meatballs and butter chicken and seafood curry ugh absolutely stunning, definitely give this place a try, and the cheese and garlic butter Nan is really good! Made fresh Also the price is definitely affordable definitely worth it will be returning
Wow! Me and my family of 8 have never had indian food before. We absolutely loved it! It was so nice to try all the buffet options and everyone loved it. The food was fresh and the staff wonderful. The place was clean and good atmosphere. If you are wanting a new experience I recommend the buffet. It started at 11 am on Sunday. Not sure about other days.
Great place to go eat. They have a variety of dishes and the buffet is open for dinner on the weekends. We enjoyed everything besides the saga which felt off to both of us. That and the chutney + raita not being convenient to scoop were the only big yiffs I had about this place. But yeah, naan and vegetable samosas were great. They do a generous pour of the mango lassi. Their paneer was alright and the curries to go with everyone was decently seasoned. The chili shrimp was fire. Go here if you got some pescatarian/vegetarians/enjoyers of food and they'd love it.
They have authentic, delicious food & the service is exceptional. I see some reviews saying it's not spicy enough. Ask them for extra spice. It's that simple. They accommodate everyone. They actually go above & beyond. I love the atmosphere as well as the food.
One of the best dining experiences Iβve had! The flavors were amazing, the portions were generous, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Will definitely be coming back
