Never imagined I can get Indian street food/snacks actually tasting like India in Baltimore. Do try the Jal jeera water, the chaats, vada pao. Everything on menu is just wow !! Perfect to catch up with frnds with some spicy tangy chaats and lot of chats in a cozy happy place.

My family and I enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal here. Every small plate that came out was more delicious than the one before. Not to mention, the owner Radhika was just delightful and we enjoyed meeting her. The restaurant is small and intimate, but they easily moved tables to accommodate our party of 5. We have told so many people about the amazing meal we had at The Verandah Kitchen, and we will definitely be back!

Have lived in Baltimore for years and this place is a true gem. The depth of flavors in each dish are incredible. There are so many good things on the menu! The service is incredibly attentive and they are so kind. Would recommended 10/10 times. Thanks so much!

This cozy spot is a gem! It’s a small, intimate space with a thoughtfully curated menu, perfect for exploring flavors in small plates. The tapas-style setup works wonderfully here, with each dish standing out in its own way. I ordered the Malai Kabab and Chicken Rista as small plates, followed by the Kohlapuri Goat Curry with Laccha Paratha. For dessert, I tried the Chocolate Mousse and Mango Kulfi. The highlights for me were definitely the Malai Kabab and the Goat Curry. The kabab was creamy and delicious, while the mutton in the curry was melt-in-your-mouth tender – cooked perfectly! The Laccha Paratha was also spot-on, with a nice, flaky texture that complemented the curry beautifully. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Hosted my new sister in laws bridal shower at the restaurant and it was beyond perfect. Not only was the owner so kind and attentive but the food and atmosphere were amazing. All the girls had a lovely time. Highly recommend for any party planning and for a nice dinner.

We went for Baltimore restaurant week and ordered the prix fixe menu, and it was delicious! The service was also great! The chef who created the menu came out and asked us how everything was and told us about the spice they made for the event. It was all really tasty and the servers were super nice. Would recommend!

Update: they’ve added a host of new dishes and they are delicious. Sorry I’m not good with the names so much as the content. The cabbage, the fish, the paneer chili, and the goat were amazing!!! I should have done one at a time but I was excited. Very much with the return visit. By the way, staff are amazing as well. Okay, the place we were looking for was gone but this place was nearby. Sounded interesting so we stumbled in to find a food paradise. I do recommend the small plates because they are all so good. It’s byob, but a liquor store nearby. The ginger lemonade was amazing. Staff is courteous and efficient, prices are reasonable, we got out for less than 40 a person, not including tip. Update from Xmas 23, Still a food paradise.
