Taj India in Birmingham

The best lunch buffet in the city with deeply flavored vegetarian dishes. Although there is meat on the buffet, the star of the show here are the vegetables. The new location is nice. The service is friendly and attentive and the food is as good as ever. One of my favorite restaurants in the Birmingham area.

Great experience, staff left as take our time, food is tasty and the dessert is a nice touch. Value is amazing. Place is clean and everything felt authentic!

The staff were amazing and very helpful and the food...... HOLY WOW its the best Indian I have had in years. Authentic Indian.. I cannot tell you enough about this food.. This was our first time trying Indian food and it was incredible. WOW. The service was incredible and was something I have never experienced in a restaurant before. The service definitely sets it apart from all of the other. Such a hospitable and lovely atmosphere and of course the food was amazing!

Finally found a great Indian restaurant! It's taken us four months, but we've discovered an excellent lunch buffet that showcases various house specialties. The food was hot, spicy, and enjoyable, with naan delivered fresh and hot to complement our meal. Thank you and see you soon!

One of the best Indian dining experiences I’ve had! The moment we walked in, the aroma of spices set the tone for a flavorful journey. The pani puri was a perfect start - crispy, tangy, and bursting with freshness. But the real standout was the tandoori soya - smoky, tender, and spiced to perfection. You could taste the care in every bite. The rest of the meal, from the rich curries to the soft naan, was equally impressive. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic and memorable Indian food!

This place is amazing. We have had many Indian food experiences here in Birmingham and Taj India is home to us now as it exceeds any expectations on Indian food. It is real, authentic, and unamericanized. We are so blessed to have been able to go to their opening in the new location. The restaurant filled up so fast shortly after re-opening and it was beautiful to see everyone’s outpouring of love for them 🥹. They deserve it. Shoutout to all the owners and workers who do an amazing job at keeping this place so great. We loved the other place but we know this one will bring many new memories ❤️❤️!
