Namastey food truck has awesome food, very tasty. Mr.Sam the owner is very friendly and prepares food according to your taste. He is very kind and an awesome cook. Our kids and we enjoyed the food so much that we kept coming back to this place. Atmosphere is also very good, enough benches to sit and enough parking. Very close to beach too if you want to have awesome food on the beach. We would love to taste this good again.
We didn't expect this good and delicious food in Kauai, we ordered chole palak, and paneer tikka extra spicy and it was really hot so we liked it but caution that this was legit extra spicy , we ate twice here so the next time we ordered spicy. We also order mango lassi which good but different from the usual mango lassi. Service was fast, a little bit costly but I guess its because of being in Hawaii
Excellent food and service everything comes out hot with a tray. Portions are huge and the dishes come with basmati rice one serving is enough for 3 people to share. We ended up getting 3 dishes plus masala chai for 3 for about $50 which is not bad for the amount of food you get. Noka Beach Access with parking. The sign is small and we actually passed it up and parked across the street. I took a pic of the sign so people know to look for it. Chicken Tikka Masala and Aloo channa curry were delicious. The masala chai was excellent as well. Great Vegetarian options as well. Very authentic street style food. There are a few tables set up to wait or eat at. Just past the gates is access to the beach. You do pay after you eat and that is a practice that is followed in India as well so not that out of the blue, but the prices were not marked anywhere (you can always ask the guy how much things cost before placing an order) Most items were around $10/$12. There are port-a-potties a little distance away as well.
Just like the other reviews, the owner asked us to eat and enjoy our meal before paying. We HAPPILY paid $126 for my family of 6. We got the mango drink, 5 orders of Naan bread and 4 plates of Curry. We all got full and took 1 full plate of curry and two naan bread orders back to our hotel for leftovers because the helpings are very generous. We were told to come hear by a local who said its the best Indian food on all the islands and he was not wrong! Hint to the single star reviews: your on Kaui, eating on the actual beach, and your complaining because you didn't price check... if you can't be happy in paradise, perhaps thats the problem.
My favorite place to eat on kauai, I come here every trip! Sam is amazing and so friendly. I love the paneer tiki masala. Large portions. Highly highly recommend. Great spot to sit outside and walk beach path afterwards.
The Lamb Korma was amazing, probably the most flavorful Korma I've ever had. The Lamb was perfect. I can't wait to try their Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. The Mango Lassi was good too. There is plenty of parking, and dining is outside with a view of the beach and ocean. Easily accessible. I will be back soon.
Loved this Hidden Gem in Kappa area in Kauai. Pleasantly Surprised that even Vegetarian Dishes were very Tasty !! Chef Mr. Shyam is very good at what he does. Our Paneer Spinach & Aloo Mutter were Cooked to perfection. Dal Tadka reminded me of home cooked Dal. I think Naan were from Costco (or some other ready to eat Naans) and we liked them too. Highly recommended for anyone looking for Indian food in Kauai. Must visit place in Kappa. Dinner time is very busy, so be prepared for some wait. Lunch time is more relaxed to enjoy the Food Truck experience.
