I came here recently for my first time trying this food. I was hesitant at first as it's new to me and I have no idea where to start. We were greeted very kindly by our waitress, Veronica, who I let know that it was my first time. She was amazing! She made me feel very welcomed as she was attentive to what I described, she gave me recommendations and her favorites as well, so we ended up going with the butter chicken and garlic naan. She brought everything very promptly and consistently made sure we were taken care of. Always smiling too, which is refreshing to see nowadays! The food? The food was delicious! Definitely will be back to try more things, and hopefully get to see this wonderful lady again!

As a vegetarian, to find a restaurant that does not just cater to non-vegetarians is extremely rare but Monsoon caters to all not just those meat eaters and does it better than anyone. We've been eating here for a year or more and it just gets better each time. *We've only eaten here during the buffet so we've gotten it instead of menu orders. They bring you choice of Naan to the table and you can go straight to buffet. Everything for me and my husband (meat eater) was the best that we've ever had. Honestly, they beat any restaurant in the desert. It's an easy place to miss so use that Google map search for it. There are other locations in Palm Springs, which is excellent also and Indio, which we haven't tried yet.

The food was authentic and very good. The restaurant was extreamly busy but service was attentive and worked quickly to meet our needs. The atmosphere was pleasant but the space could probably have a little more personality

We were visiting for Indian Wells and craving for Indian food. It was the nearest Indian restaurant from the Tennis Garden, we got a takeout of Chana Masala, Palak Paneer and some garlic naans. Food was delicious and the server was super kind and gracious. She (I forgot to ask her name 😌) threw in salad, papad as complimentary.

This is a beautiful Indian restaurant. Loved the open space and plenty of parking. Food is served fresh and sizzling. The dishes are all tasty. Enjoyed the alo-paratha.The tandoori fish. The dal and the tandoori bread.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had and I’ve visited India many times! We have been here at least five times now and we’ve done both eat-in and takeout. Very casual atmosphere but truly incredible food. The tandoori chicken, garlic naan and the Chana masala are mind blowing.

Amazing Indian food in Palm Springs. Highly recommend the shahi paneer and lunch buffet option.
