Shalimar Greenbush

This is some of the best Indian food I have had in a long time. The atmosphere is very nice and the place is super clean. The staff is so friendly and treats every customer like royalty. You couldn't ask to improve anything on food or environment. This place is perfect. I will be eating here at least twice a week .

I sampled the lunch buffet mid week, everything I sampled from chicken tikka masala to mulligatawny soup was so good, my dad and I went back for second and thirds. So excited that Shalimar came to the Home Depot plaza in EG! Thank you Shalimar 💕

Shalimar offers a delightful journey into authentic Indian flavors. From the perfectly crisp Chincken tika to the rich Butter Chicken and the vibrant Curry, each dish is a testament to culinary skill. The creamy Saag Paneer and fragrant Garlic Naan further impressed. Attentive service and a warm ambiance enhance the experience. Saffron Spice is a must-visit for anyone seeking genuine and delicious Indian cuisine. I'm glad to finally have good indian food in East Greenbush. Highly recommended!

Had no idea this was opening, but they just told us they’ve only been opened for a week as of 4/14!! So happy to finally have our own Shalimar here in the E/N Greenbush area, as the other locations have always been great. The Indian place closest to us on Columbia turnpike closed down, so I’ve been looking for a replacement for my chicken tikka masala pizza… they have it. Don’t sleep on it. 10/10

Absolutely hands down amazing food. This is my new favorite Indian buffet. The food is fantastic. There’s both familiar and new things here and everything I had was amazing. I’m a weakling when it comes to hot spicy and nothing here hurt my mouth or stomach. I’m also vegetarian and there are plenty of delicious vegetarian options that made me so happy. The waitstaff is very welcoming and very friendly. The seating is comfortable. The music is enjoyable and gives a great atmosphere. The inside is very clean and organized. I will recommend everyone come here and I hope these guys do really well and stick around for a long time.

My first time here. Greeting was lovely with a true smile I had questions about the MULLIGATAUNY soup. The owner offered for me to try it, to see if I liked it first. I did not expect that.😋 The soup is amazing! if you are a vegetarian and love lentil soups..... you have to try this one! BTW you don't have to be a vegetarian to love it! Customer service was excellent and welcoming. I chose to order separately from the buffet but saw it looked really nice. For the price it’s an amazing deal. My food was fresh, hot and delicious. The restaurant can fit large parties. Great addition to the neighborhood.
