Taj Restaurant & Bar, Best North Indian food

Great food and service. The waitress got the order right for a group of 7 people. The food tasted great. Good portion size. Plenty of free parking outside. Everyone enjoyed their food today. We had a great time at this place. Definitely 5 stars.

Service was great! The server answered all my questions and gave new amazing recommendations. I had the butter chicken and garlic naan. I was surprised with how little chicken pieces came with the dish was it was still good. It was cozy and nice place. The mango smoothie was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet just perfect

Our first time here and first time trying Indian cuisine. Oh my, this food is GRRRRREAT! Every dish we ordered was amazing! And the mango and yogurt drink as well

If I could give a 10 star I would. Quiet place, great for a cozy date night. I got the chicken curry mild and boyfriend got the lamb curry medium. I tried his and it was delicious 😋 everything was perfectly warm and the basmati rice was so fluffy. The butter naan yummy Service was great and loved the atmosphere will definitely be back I need to try the chick Tikka masala with the cheese naan next...

This was the first time I have ever had Indian food... and after eating here I am hooked! The atmosphere is great! Staff wonderful!! The food is AMAZING!

This was a beautiful spot to get some hot food on a cold rainy day! 🍛🌧 I got the butter chicken (mild). It was very good and it came with its own bowl of rice! We also got garlic naan, which was so delicious we had to order a second round🧄 ✌️ The mango Lassi (which is like a smoothie) is so fresh & sweet 🥭 My mom & I can't wait to visit again! The atmosphere is a very nice upscale restaurant. This would also make a great weekend date night spot

I have eaten here on multiple occasions and every time has been a good experience. The food is authentic and outstanding. The waitstaff has always been friendly and accommodating. Definitely the best place in the Killeen area for Indian food :) Just a heads up though, don't hesitate to communicate with the server about spice levels. We asked for medium spicy and it was hardly spicy at all. After talking with the server, their medium is based on "American" medium, and not authentic medium you would normally experience.
