All the dishes were plated very well and was full of flavours. Selmen from front house was very courteous & efficient. Normally in any restaurant you will find either the food or service good, but they have made a benchmark here by maintaining their standards topnotch. I will highly recommend for family outings. The best part is that have. pricing was very reasonable too.

I tried the vegetarian thali today, and it was perfect! It was a well-rounded set of dishes that satisfy your palate medhu vada, phulka, chole curry, veg kadai curry, rasam, raita, fryums, rice and shahi tukda for dessert.

They have the best chaat on Fridays. We always come here and enjoy the chaat. The service is excellent 👌.

The best south Indian food I tasted in San Diego. Tried idli sambar, Idli was really fluffy and soft. Madras pakora was crispy and yummy..Sambar was amazing. Nice ambiance and friendly staff.. Weekend special was one to not miss!! Will come back..

We recently had Madras Cafe be a vendor at the Holi 2025 event at the Flower Fields in Carlsbad. Prakash and his team were fantastic! The food was wonderful; and received rave reviews from guests at the event. Our family has some food allergies, but he and his team were very good at making sure that our food was safe for us to eat. Highly recommended!

I really wanted to try the thali but it wasn’t available on Saturday. So we decided to try the lamb rogan josh and that was perfect. The curry was slightly sweet, rich and aromatic. We also tried the biryani and we were not disappointed, flavors were all there but we wish they gave us a little bit more chicken. The samosas, the filter coffee, and the mango lassi hit the spot as well. Can’t compliment this place enough, we will be back again!
