The food was so flavorful. Chicken was so well seasoned and moist. Rice was perfectly cooked & full of flavor. Naan was tender and soft. Each sauce was unique and an explosion of flavor. I genuinely cannot wait to order again! Chicken Biryani, garlic naan, and vegetable samosas.
I’ve been visiting this restaurant since 2021, and I must say the taste and quality have improved significantly under the new management and the name change to Kaveri. The flavors are authentic yet slightly adapted so that people from all communities can enjoy them. I went to the lunch buffet yesterday and was impressed by the freshness and high quality of the food. Having dined at Indian restaurants across Texas and in 42 other states, I can confidently say this is the #1 Indian restaurant in West Texas. Highly recommend!
Amazing Indian food in Lubbock! We went for the buffet so we could try multiple dishes and we were so glad we did. It was worth it. They had many varieties, so if you are new to Indian food this would be a great way to try it. The service was fantastic, they were very nice. Highly recommend!
I went at 5pm for the dinner timeframe, was able to sit wherever I wanted and given a menu. I ordered the Butter Chicken w/ rice, Naan, and a appetizer of Samosa. I also was able to order Lamb Biryani to go, that was ready right as I was about done with my meal. The food was great, really flavorful, great texture, and perfect serving amount. I'll definitely be back, and look forward to trying more. My price was reasonable, and the staff and owner were nice and accommodating.
PHENOMENAL! I’ve never had Indian food before but I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Buttered Chicken, & Naan (amazinggg) and I was licking my plate clean! Very reasonable prices and very filling. I hope everybody comes here because they deserve great recognition!
Tons of honest and real vegetarian dishes (no squash trying to be turky, just pure spice and yummy), the meat was perfectly spiced. A tad more cinnamon than i was used to in the curry mix (quite tasty, dip in som naan and you will definitely go back in for seconds). We got the Goat curry (first pic) and the Okra masala (second pic)
I recently visited this restaurant with friends and we were blown away. The food was delicious with significantly sized portions to share. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the prices were reasonable. I definitely will be visiting again (maybe today, lol.)
