NH 44 Indian | Best Indian Westchester NY

Named after India’s longest highway, this restaurant brings bold, vibrant South Indian flavors in a colorful and modern space. We ordered the Shrimp Tikka Masala, Chicken Kozhi Chettinad, and Pork Vindaloo—each dish distinct, deeply flavorful, and well-balanced. The shrimp was juicy in a rich, tomato-cream sauce; the Chettinad chicken was (very) spicy and pepper-forward with complex southern flavors; and the vindaloo had a tangy, slow-building heat that was incredibly satisfying. The Garlic Naan and Chili Cheese Coconut Naan are absolutely great. The garlic naan was beautifully blistered, chewy yet crisp, while the chili cheese coconut naan was unexpected and addictively good—just the right mix of creamy, spicy, and nutty. Drinks like the Mango Lassi and Masala Chai were also top-notch. Service was relaxed but super attentive. Highly recommended if you’re looking for serious Indian flavors in a fun, unpretentious setting.

Absolutely amazing experience. The service was so friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding! We tried so many new things, like the chai and coffee on their dessert menu. Everything is a 10/10. Mango Lassi is so creamy and a perfect treat. Definitely check this place out, best in westchester!

What a fantastic choice for a Saturday afternoon lunch! It was our first time at NH44, and luckily, it did not disappoint. Definitely money and time well spent. We ordered the chili cheese naan, papdi chaat, paneer masala, butter chicken, and ghar ka chole—and everything was top-tier. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. Our server, Sharmila, was welcoming and attentive, making our experience even better. If you’re on the fence, just go for it—you won’t regret it!

Food was so delicious here! All the food was great but we especially loved the eggplant tamarind appetizer and the hot curry. I came with my two kids and they were so sweet and accommodating. Service was truly excellent. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience !

First time here and loved it! Their hospitality was amazing. The dishes were delicious! Everything tasted so fresh and well seasoned. The Chicken Tikka Masala and the Garlic Naans are my favorite ! We were so full we took dessert to go !! Definitely will be returning.

The food was so delicious and you could tell everything was freshly made. The Samosa Chaat was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The mango lassi was refreshing (I ordered two). And don’t skip dessert!! The Gulab Jamun were drenched in syrupy goodness and served warm. 10/10 would recommend.

Beautiful ambiance. Friendly and attentive service. Most importantly, the food is absolutely delish. The flavor profiles are deep and well prepared. Highly recommend !!
