I haven't tried the food but I went to the grocery store on the other side (inside the restaurant) of the restaurant. The restaurant looked clean and the atmosphere looked good. Because of the door between the grocery store and restaurant, customers can have full privacy while dining. The grocery store is not very big but has pretty much everything one would need. But so far I have seen only frozen meat (chicken, beef, lamb and goat) which they gladly cut to your order. The butcher is a very nice person and very helpful. The owner is also nice and tries to assist the customers as much as he can. Grocery prices are very competitive and the Halal meat prices are the lowest in San Fernando valley. Although they have storefront parking, but this can be an issue as there are other restaurants and stores in the same complex. I wish them all the best.
KING OF INDIA is now open in the heart of Hollywood. This is incredible!!! The samosas are so big and so delicious. Also, the prices are very reasonable. Mango Lassi was so good, fresh and smooth. Definitely, I will be coming back again to this place. The service is super fast 100% recommended. The Best indian food so far in Hollywood.
everything about this place is wonderful ! the employees and owner are so kind, the food and the delicious ! this location is unique compared to the original location, because it has some Indian-Mexican fusion dishes on the menu too ! we had samosas, chili pakoras, mango lasso, and two chicken tikka masala bowls for lunch. so much food we had plenty to take home. everything was delicious, and the chicken was incredibly tender.
We ordered to go. The food is okay but we should’ve ordered and stay in, because by the time we got home the food was cold. I’m willing to try it again but this time we are eating at the restaurant.
Everything great! Food is delicious and service is well. The coconut curry and the tandoori chicken are excelent!
