Paradise of India

My son and I have frequented this place for the last year and recently brought my sister as well. The food has always been amazing, the service great, and the portions are generous. We leave with leftovers for one or two more meals when we’re done. They have set the bar for me in terms of local Indian restaurants. I always leave very happy after having a great meal.

ordered door dash. called in to make sure chicken tikka masala was extra spicy and they were happy to accommodate! food was very good and flavorful. btw menu doesn't state this but chicken tikka masala comes with rice.

The service, the food and the people everything was amazing! People usually order takeout from this place cause their dine in was closed for a while and no announcement of if being reopened was made. Anyway, would absolutely make this my chai spot. Love the vibes !

I was very pleasantly surprised!! I’m going be ordering from here again for sure! UPDATE - I just made a catering order for school event and they were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were within our budget! Thank you so much Paradise of India and I’m super excited for the food!!

I used to live right next to Paradise of India and would have their food all of the time. I moved last year and have been searching endlessly for a new Indian restaurant that is half as good as this one, and I'm struggling to find it. The food was always delicious, and the workers were so nice. If I wasn't a plane ride away, I would definitely make the trek. I miss this place so much!

I have to give them 5 stars. This restaurant has been in Amherst for so long which says a lot about their quality and consistency. The food is amazing and portions are great! In terms of authenticity you can be assured your getting authentic Indian food, I went many times with my friend from Mumbai and she was always impressed with the food! This is a family owned local restaurant which makes me feel even better when I eat and do business with them. Their staff is very friendly and accommodating and I've always felt taken care of when I eat here. The restaurant itself is small but very beautifully decorated and clean!!! I have never had to complain about a dish or call for an error in my order!! I order a lot of take out and I cant say the same for other restaurants. I also know that this business participated in a program during the pandemic to make meals for low income people in the town of Amherst. To me, that is enough of a reason to give them my business and go out of my way to eat there. When times are hard and people step up to help, that's when you know their true character and I believe these people are an excellent example of great Americans!!!!
