I went to Sitar a year back. Was not at all satisfied with the food. I went in here today and they are back with lunch buffet. Food is delicious , the ambience is perfect and the service was excellent. Met with the Nepali chef and thanked him for the food he put in our plate. Will be going there again and again.
Number one place for Indian food. Pictures speak for themselves. Dined in and service was excellent. Speedy service with a smile. Most of the dishes are shareable so have someone get one meal and the other order another meal. Looked like there carry out was pretty busy with people coming in and out at a very fast rate. They do have plenty of complimentary parking in the rear of the restaurant. If you get a chance look into Groupon, it can actually save you some money.
I only stopped in for rice and the Onion Bhaji. Both were delicious and they provided large portions. I even got a variety of dipping sauces. The service was very fast and friendly. I look forward to trying additional menu items next time I’m in town!
I was craving some Indian food and after researching a few places, the reviews led me to Sitar and I have to say it did not disappoint a bit. Everything from the samosas to the main course was delicious. The samosas were crisp as one would expect and the filling was just so amazing. It has pears in it if I remember correctly and it is just very flavorful. The sauce that accompanies it is also really good. Didn’t care much for the green sauce though. The garlic naan is a staple and it was very flavorful as well. The chicken Tandoori was also good. Very juicy and tender and I had jasmine rice with it and it needs no explanation, because it is just delicious. All in all I highly recommend this place and will definitely order again.
This place is a Nashville classic. Sufficiently dated to go along with the classic label. The food is great. We enjoyed the buffet. I've been coming here for years.
Went here early on New Year’s Eve with family of 15 including children. Food was excellent! Server helped us picked good items for kids and was a lot of fun. We had a great time.
The butter chicken was awesome. Food was plentyful and tasty. The staff were very thoughtful
