The food has a very consistent taste which is the most important thing unlike other places which u feel like the taste is different from every visit. I tried a lot of items during my multiple visits and must say, none disappointed. I love makki ki roti with saag, their chats, their Thali’s are wholesome. When ever I crave something home, it’s the place to go.
Back again after a while because our first experience here was chef’s kiss—and this time, we brought the whole family for round two! Spoiler alert: still delicious. This place is a paradise for vegetarians (and even the occasional meat-lover will forget about meat while eating here). Whether you’re into Indian street food, hearty mains, or just came for the sweets—this place delivers. We feasted on Karahi Soya Chaap with Laccha Parantha, Amritsari Aloo Kulcha Thali, and Samosa Chaat. Everything hit the spot! The chaap was so good, we almost started a custody battle over the last piece. Portion sizes? Generous. Taste? On point. Special shoutout to the Jalebi and Kachori—worth breaking any diet for. Service was friendly and above average. Highly recommend for a cozy, flavorful veg meal. Definitely coming back—possibly with even more people next time.
Recently we visited Kesar’s , located at Town Center plaza , east Windsor . It was the first time we ever visited this place , but I should say food was pretty good., with perfect seasoning n mildly spiced gravy . Though this place is popular for Indian Thali , we wanted to try a quick platter with breads n curries.,with Parathas. The service was good and was on time. Food was piping hot . Just wanted to give a try on Mango lassi , it was good. Overall food was good , service was good, staff were friendly , neat and clean , peaceful ambience . Hope this helps , would recommend to give a try. Would love to try their Thali.
Amazing delicious food. Highly recommend. The staff is friendly. Meet and clean place.
We ordered 4 different thalis ( kathiawdi thali , punjabi thali , amritsari kucha thali , chilli cheese paratha ) and enjoyed the awesome food . The service was superb too along with their ambiance. Each and every item in the thalis were cooked perfectly. The quantity and quality both are very good .
I didn't realize this was a vegetarian place, but I didn't mind. The food was pretty good, flavorful, bread is always a big thing for me and it was perfect, loved the decor and the way everything was served. Paneer Tikka masala was a good substitute for a chicken tikka. Samosas were delicious. First time trying pani puri, it was pretty good.
Visited the restaurant on a Monday, had very few guests. We ordered Amritsari Thali, Punjabi Thali, Mango Lassi, Gobi 65 and kids noodles. The amritsari thali was great with the start being the paneer naan which was soft and well stuffed. The Palak saag in the punjabi thali was my personal favourite. Lassi had a very good flavour of the mango. Gobi 65 could have been a little more spicy. The quantity of the kids noodles was a little too much for my son but he enjoyed them. The service was prompt and our server was very hospitable. Overall a very pleasant experience.
