Amazing Indian food. So many wonderful choices. I have eaten here multiple times; trying a new dish each time. I have yet to find a dish I do not like. I have star'ed and saved this restaurant. I highly recommend and will eat here again.
Such a friendly greeting and cozy atmosphere. The food is authentic northern Indian and fantastic! The goat curry was all meat, no bones and so much goat!! My husband had Shrimp Biryani…shrimp were big and sweet. The garlic Naan was delicious and warm. It’s a locally run…owned by a couple and she does the serving and he does the cooking. We would definitely go back when we go through Grand Forks.
We ordered takeout for two, and everything was absolutely delicious! We had the Aloo Gobi and Chana Masala, both made mild with coconut milk and prepared without butter or ghee to keep it vegan. The flavors were rich, satisfying, and beautifully balanced. The vegetable spring rolls were crisp and flavorful—though in hindsight, one order would’ve been plenty. The portions overall were very generous; we definitely didn’t need both naan and spring rolls. Our meals came with rice (no need to order extra!), and they included two delicious sauces—one bright and herby, likely cilantro-based, and the other sweet and mildly spicy. The mango chutney was a standout—fruity, tangy, and the perfect complement. Excellent food, generous portions, and thoughtful prep. We’ll absolutely be back!
Fantastic. We don't have much for food options at home, mostly American fare. So I take advantage of traveling by getting Indian food whenever I can.
Honestly some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the chicken tandoori kebabs and the garlic naan (the onion stuffed one is amazing too!) and the hot chai! The tikka chicken that came with the kebabs was PERFECTLY seasoned and spiced (I asked for hot). I’ll be eating my leftovers for the next few days (just that one meal is plenty for 2-3 people depending on g on appetite size).
Great addition to Grand Forks, we've been missing a great Indian restaurant. No more long trips to Fargo. You control how hot or spicy you want your meal, sorry GF black pepper is not hot. Great food and wonderful service. UPDATE Feb 10th, service is still great, and so is the food. Packed with flavor and freshly made. Found a new favorite, the ginger Naan. Not overpowering and paired well with our meal. It's a must try if you like Indian food. No, it's not spicy - you control the spice level. UPDATE, May 5th, tried the mushroom balti for the first time. It was outstanding, and the wine sauce was flavorable, and the peas add a nice touch. Definitely will get it again. UPDATE JAN 26TH, wonderful meal and great service. The dahls are packed with flavor and you control the heat level. The hot chai was awesome, perfect balance of spices.
Incredibly fast service, hot and delicious food, great menu options, great drinks. Absolutely no complaints. Prices were good, about $15 for chicken tikka masala that was enough for two people. Naan was incredible as well.
