Kumari Restaurant - Federal Hill

This is the best Indian saving a couple of eclectic Indian restaurants for Mother’s Day and anniversaries. I’ve been coming here for the buffet because it’s fresh and not a heavy Indian dining experience. They do offer comfort options like tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, and braised lamb but also seafood, cucumber salad, and this incredible pickled chili “salsa” with a chutney consistency. So, the meal is refreshing with so much flavor.

Excellent food, they added a chutney sauce with chicken and we loved that. The noodles had too much curry flavor in it, but eventually the blended taste was perfect with medium spice level. Overall great experience, and they have desi milk tea cha! Parking available infront of the store, and price arent too bad!

Excellent Nepalese Indian food! Really love the biryani and general spice level. Great service and decent enough price. Frequent this spot quite often! Lunch deal is great

Five stars for the chicken curry. Dropped by for take away and we got this with their rice. Medium spicy. Good portion for two. The masala was very flavorful and about as authentic as it gets. I particularly liked that they didn’t dilute down the flavor with cream/dairy which a lot of places do. This was closer to a South Indian chicken curry than I’ve had at most places!

Food tasted great! I got spicy stir fry noodles …. 4/5 spice level and it tasted as I expected and was delicious!!!

First time dining here. The best Garlic Naan I've tasted in Baltimore. Perfect balance of soft and crunchy with garlic and hint of salt. I didn't plan on writing a review, so my picture of naan is after started eating. I paired this with tikka masala dish and it was delicious. I would reccomend trying this restaurant. I'll be back for lunch buffet.

Absolutely love this spot! The food is great especially the buffet. So many great flavors for a wonderful price.
