Closest Nepali restaurant to our place. Located mid of Denton market place. We went for Friday dinner and it was good . Tried there specials fried rice, chicken jhol momo and veg momo. Food was good with great service . Momo took some time but was very fresh and piping hot.
Great service and awesome food. Loved their Chai. Everything we ordered was great. Only thing you have to keep in mind is, the food does take a long time to come, so be patient. The food will be worth it. Having said that, I would want the management to take a note on it. We were famished by the food arrived and we had been driving for a quite a while. Thankfully, none of them were toddlers so there wasn’t any tantrums!😀 Would definitely go back whenever we are in Denton.👍🏽
Wow the food was simply awesome. There is only a few places I can recommend that made every single dish I ordered perfect. Spicy chowk is one among them. I would definitely recommend to anyone. It's a indo Nepalese cuisine. You can experience best of both worlds. Only thing that nagged me is the tables and chairs they use. I understand in order to accommodate more tables in the space they have they must have chosen that. But this has nothing to do with food and service. Service was outstanding as well... Highly recommended ****
Love the goat biryani, extra spicy. Our server is so adorable and attentive. I'm originally from Boston and hands down and to me, this restaurant has the best Indian food in Texas so far. I highly recommend them to everyone! Don't forget the garlic naan and samosas!
Small unassuming spot serving up some fantastic indo/Chinese/nepali food. I ordered the Chowk curry, momo 555, and garlic naan. Everything was fantastic! Both dishes were fresh and hot. Spice was adjusted to taste. Garlic naan was crispy on bottom but not overdone. Everyone inside was super friendly. We're already planning another visit with our kids and parents.
Delicious food and amazing people. I came with my mom and sister. From beginning to end, the food and service was excellent. I really enjoy Indian food and since moving to Texas I have finally found good authentic taste. I highly recommend you come and eat here.
This place is amazing! They took over what was a sandwich shop that sadly does not face 288 so, you have to know where to look (it is behind the UPS store) but it is worth the search! I ordered take out this time but everything I tried was great...especially the vegetable pakora - which was not overly fried or too greasy (even getting it to go, it was nice and crispy by the time I say down to eat). The menu is a great combo of Indian and Nepali - which is a nice new on most Indian places in Denton. Online ordering was a breeze with their GetBento site but next time I am definitely going to make the time to dine in.
