My stepsister found this place on TikTok. Definitely worth the attention it’s getting. I’ve come here several times since my first visit. It is 50 minutes from my house, but worth the drive. The server Ricky is such a gentleman. He provided pristine service and excellent conversation. The food was 10/10, service 10/10 and the atmosphere was not as great but it was satisfactory. Recommend to all families and couples and even to singles as a solo date
The food was amazing! We ordered Lamb Rogan Josh, Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Roti, and Mango Lassi—everything was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent as well. Ever since the ownership changed last year, the food quality has noticeably improved. I’ll definitely be coming back!"
After a trip to Costco, we decided to stop by Persis Indian Grill for lunch, and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, setting the tone for a great dining experience. We ordered garlic naan, bullet naan, mango lassi, chicken Tikka Masala, and chicken Rogan Josh, all prepared spicy as we like it. The mango lassi was sweet and refreshing, the perfect balance to cool down the heat from our dishes. The garlic naan was a standout—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Both the Tikka Masala and Rogan Josh were rich, aromatic, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors and spices were just incredible, warming us from the inside out. Service was excellent—our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer our questions while also offering great recommendations for our next visit. Overall, Persis Indian Grill delivered an outstanding meal with bold flavors, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
Jose' is the BEST server. He is so sweet, and kind. He helped me chose my food and dessert. He made my meal enjoyable, and it was nice to have someone that helped me with the menu and had awesome recommendations. He was such a pleasure to talk to. I came back tonight because of him, and he informed me he will be leaving here as his employment and I'm sad. I hope he goes somewhere he is appreciated. He's got a huge heart and a love for people. Food is always good here too.
Persis Indian Grill in Savannah is a gem! The Mango Lassi is refreshing and delicious, the Naan is perfectly soft and warm, and the curries are rich and flavorful. The lamb dishes are a must-try—so tender and well-seasoned. Everything here is packed with authentic flavors and made with care. If you love Indian food, this place should be on your list!
My coworkers and I stopped in after a late meeting. The food was excellent and the staff were all very kind and took the time to offer suggestions and answer all of our questions about various dishes. Between the 4 of us, we ordered vegetable pakora, a bread basket, malai kabob, and 3 curries and had way more food than we could finish. The service was solid and we will definitely return the next time we come through town.
Before I moved away, this was one of my favorite spots. I just moved back and found that it’s still just as amazing as it ever was. The staff is so helpful, kind, and relaxed. I’m so glad to see that this place has retained its quality.
