Shalimar Delmar

Love this place! Had a prime rib debacle on Christmas Day and my family pivoted to Indian takeout. I was so thankful they were open, had food ready quickly (no preorder needed) and were pleasant! I love mulligatawny soup and they do it perfectly. My family also shared samosa chaat, onion and jalapeño cheese naan, falafel, chicken tikka masala, palak paneer and lamb Rogan Josh. Everything was chefs kiss. A highlight to an end of a stressful Christmas meal. Can’t wait to eat more!

Food was great, prices are reasonable, calm environment. Our attendant Rohit is great at his job, he suggested the right choice of food and it turned out to be delicious sizzling cuzine. They have sufficient parking space, pick up and delivery also available.

First time back since Shalimar changed ownership a few years ago. We were pleasantly surprised; now you can order the meal medium or spicy. Chicken dishes were moist and flavorful! We will be back!

Had a great meal today, the weekday lunch buffet, which was well stocked with a lot of variety of foods. This place has a ton of flavorful options for vegetarians. This was my first visit to the buffet and I was impressed with the food and the kindness and service of the staff and owner. I’ve had take out a few times, and the delivery has always been hot and quick! I will definitely be taking friends with me here the next time I come in. This is a photo of my second plate, where I tried to grab all the stuff I missed the first time around. ;)

The food is so good here. I bought falafel, assorted naan and hummus for a party and everyone commented on the difference between shalimar and other places. So much better!!!

We ordered take out and it was delicious 😋 The food was ready quickly and we were waited on promptly and courteously. The food was excellent and the portions were large enough for two other meals.
