Shan - E - Roti (Oklahoma) truck stop

While traveling we prefer to eat at local restaurants. Our family had never tried Indian food before. Shan-E-Roti did not disappoint. We asked our server to suggest milder dishes that would not be too spicy for our very American palates. We got four different dishes and passed them around. The look and smell of the dishes were very appetizing. It was far more than we could eat. The lentils, chicken curry, flatbread, and other things that we tried were very good. Some of the dishes were fairly spicy for us, but not too much so. Everything was very flavorful. Our first taste of Indian food was a great experience.

This cute place was so lovely. This was my first time coming here, and the service is wonderful. The lady in red was so helpful to show us many options we had, and we had decided on the butter chicken. The dish was very delicious. It was rich, flavorful, and came with some tasty naan. Please stop by and try this place! They also serve vegan options as well. 10/10!

This place was a little gem in disguise!! THE BEST INDIAN CUISINE WE HAVE HAD PERIOD!!! It’s A MUST TRY!! the best part is it’s trucker friendly!! and it’s located right across from Love’s Truck Stop. If you’re ever in Oklahoma don’t hesitate to stop by! You won’t regret it!! IT’S A MUST TRY!!!

Ahhh…what a find! I’ve had excellent Indian food all across the country…who knew that you can get this quality in the middle of Oklahoma??? The people here are so nice, and the food is off the charts delicious. I will say that unless you’re experienced or adventurous, begin by ordering your dishes mild. Even at “mild” there is a nice bit of spiciness to it, and the detail in the flavor is really more than you’ll get at 90 percent of the Indian restaurants you’ll find most anywhere else. These folks are so eager to please…and boy, did they ever!

Delicious! After driving for almost 9 hours, this was a welcome stop! Have a great selection of Indian foods and spices. Highlight was the chicken masala. Spiced perfectly! Tasted high quality and the service was very friendly. They have a lot of great options on their menu - give them a try while passing through!

Found this restaurant by accident searching for indian food around. This has one of the BEST indian food my family has ever tried. This food tastes homemade which makes it even better. The woman that served us was a lovely person. She made our experience so much better!
