This was me and my husband’s first time ordering here on a Monday night right before they were about to close, and we absolutely loved it. The customer service was amazing, we came in around 10:18 and they close at 10:30 but still serviced us and were very patient about it. We ordered the Chicken Tandoori and Salmon Curry w/Garlic Naan and two salads. Everything was good. We could’ve did without the salads, other than that it was a 10/10.
Very good food and service! And they do delivery too, so awesome and recommended! 🔥
This was our third time coming in two weeks. The food is absolutely full of flavors. The lamb curry is 5/5. We also had the lamb byriani which was also 5/5. The garlic and cheese naan is my favorite one on the menu. Last but not least the place is super clean and the staff was so attentive and nice. Thank you and see you soon 🙃
Great tasty Indian food! Didn't realize there was this great place so close to the Navy Yard. My friend and I both had the combo meals which came with Samosa, entree, naan, rice, and a drink. I had the lamb saag and he had the chicken masala. We were able to customize the spice on each and it tasted great! I don't eat Indian food that much but from someone that doesn't eat it that often, this was a great place for lunch. Overall, if you are craving Indian food near Navy Yard this is the place to go and grab lunch. Worth the short trip.
Their combination platters are the best thing that happened to lunch in ages. You get a somosa (veg or meat), rice, entree, naan and a soda for 21 bucks. The chicken Tikka Masala is incredibly good.
Sometimes, when the food is good there’s not much to say. It was really good food!! Fresh! The perfect spice level. Super kind waiter, even turned down the bright lighting when we asked. Very nicely priced for the quality too.
Tried Saffron based off the reviews and we were not disappointed. Samples the meat appetizer, lamb pasanda (cream almond sauce) and shrimp tikka masala and naan. We were not disappointed and actually have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Meal total was $50 before tip. Highly recommend trying this Indian restaurant!
