My son has a dietary restriction. The owner/chef came out himself to find a great solution. The food came out catered to his needs and it was absolutely delicious!!! Recommend this place π―
When you walk in you are immersed in heavenly smells. I received wonderful service and amazing food. whatever you get make sure you get some garlic naan to go with itβ¦. Mmm so buttery and flaky.
Consistently been to Naan & Brew the last few years and would hands down mark them as one of the best places for Indian food in BHAM! Quality is consistently high with a variety of delicious options (including some great vegetarian/gluten-free dishes) and we always have great service when we come here! Menu Faves: Garlic naan (pictured), veggie samosas, chicken samosas, veggie pakoras, paneer pakoras, butter chicken, chicken tikka, lamb palak, channa masala (pictured) & coconut chicken curry. Definitely a must-try here in town!
So awesome. I called to get recommendations for Vegan options on their menu and was provided a few good ideas, and I ordered through a delivery app. I had added Samosas and the restaurant called me back, recognizing the food I ordered to remind me that one of the sauces for the pakoras was not vegan and offered me a vegan option to replace it with. :-) They went the extra mile that wasn't required and I appreciate it.
I love the casual atmosphere, and I especially love that they eliminated the problem I've had at many other Indian restaurants where the check takes forever to arrive, by having customers pay at the counter when ready. Yay! Everything we ordered was spectacular - even the entrees that were ordered with minimal "spice". Really lovely rich flavors. We had the paneer tikka masala, shahi paneer, aloo gobi, and the channa masala. I normally am not a fan of channa masala but I really like theirs - the beans are well-cooked, not mealy, and the sauce is thick. We also had a couple good beers - Boundary Bay Scotch Ale and Kulshan Octoberfest. Naan & Brew is now our favorite Indian restaurant in Bellingham!
I love the idea of mixing indian cuisine with a sports bar! It was made even better by being amazingly delicious!! The setting was great. I only gave it four stars for the atmosphere because there was an echo between two of the TVs. Everything else was outstanding!! After asking the server for a suggestion, I ordered the lamb tikka masala, heat level 3 out of 5. I can handle a good amount of heat, but know my limits. It certainly cleared my sinuses, which, for me, was perfect. I also ordered plain naan and a Black Raven coconut porter. The service was fast, and the quantity was plentiful. The lamb was tender and juicey and drenched in the BEST tikka masala sauce I've ever had. It was fragrant, creamy, and perfectly spiced. Seriously, yummy!! The naan was light, crispy, and made for the perfect scoop for rice, lamb, and sauce. After the naan was gone, I still had enough lamb and sauce to eat with a spoon. The porter was nice and rich with a smooth coconut-chocolate flavor. If you like indian cuisine or have been curious to try it, I highly recommend Naan and Brew!! You'll be glad you did π
