We loved this place. This is one of the best South Indian restaurants in Irving. They were accommodating enough to make us some substitutions in our food. The service is excellent and the food tasted the best. We came here on a weekend for lunch; there was a little wait time, and it was also a little loud. The price is also very affordable. Would recommend this place for authentic South Indian food.
Visited this place on the first day of trip in the dinner time. The sign was a little unclear but we did find it. Food was very good and the staff was kind. Quantity was not very appreciable but when told the staff offered an extra side of food. We ordered for biryani(chitti muthyalu), chicken curry and roti’s for three was okay. I would suggest a little more quantity of rice would be better. Apart from that hospitality, taste, ambience and hassle free parking was all good. Water was bottled and kept on the table before arrival which is a good move.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Ordered the special chicken biryani which was a different style but flavor did not disappoint. Rice was cooked perfectly. The sauces were great. Second dish ordered crab masala + white rice. Equally delicious buuut wasn’t expecting it to be actual crab legs. Pretty hard to eat. Wouldn’t order again. Very tasty - very spicy. The entire staff consistently checks on you so service is excellent. Can’t wait to come back ! I forgot to add.. gotta get the falafel holy cow it was freshly fried and the texture was just a wholenuthalevel! So great I had to take a picture.
It was my first visit to this store, and I tried the Kongu Chicken Biryani. The customer service was great, and the biryani was delicious with rich, authentic flavors. The portion size was also generous compared to other Kongu biryani places. I ordered takeout, and everything was well-packed and fresh.
Had an amazing meal at thiru koppuswamy unavagam Restaurant yesterday! The Chicken 65, Chicken Kottu Parata, and Veg Kottu Parata were all delicious. If you're a fish lover, the Fish Fry is a must-try! To top it off, I had Goli Soda – a perfect end to the meal. Left the place totally satisfied and full. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic flavors!"
Best Indian restaurant in Dallas/Irving area. Visited for weekday lunch and the crowd is significant. Food is of good quality. Recommended dish for lunch is meals along with chicken 65 or mutton appetizer. Fish curry is good. Would love to visit again. Special mention to the hospitality that staffs ensured each order is served hot and quick. And to set the expectations, this restaurant is south indian, you can get south indian briyani and curry here.
The food was absolutely amazing. A bit too spicy for my liking, but I still loved it. Also, the service was top-notch. He kept checking to see if we needed anything and made us feel right at home.
