Had the buttered lamb it was absolutely delicious 10/10 and the staff is so amazing and kind please come check it out!!! The owner of the business was taking orders and he is an absolute joy!
We got the chicken tikka masala and butter masala with an order of tandoori roti and naan and everything was delicious. We got medium for both dishes on a scale of mild to hot and it was very mild, so I'd recommend hot if you want some heat.
This is the best Indian food around, and one of the few places with an actual Indo-Chinese menu. My husband is from Chennai and this is his new favorite place. The food doesn't get any better than this, even if you were in India. If you're not eating here you're doing it wrong.
The Monk’s is a restaurant that offers a fusion of Indian and Chinese cuisine in a casual, inviting atmosphere. I recently tried the food at The Monk’s, and it was incredibly delicious. The dishes looked so tempting that I couldn’t wait to dig in. The presentation was appealing, and the flavors were even better, making the whole experience unforgettable. The restaurant excels with its variety, we ordered a variety of dishes, including wok-tossed noodles, crispy chili American baby corn, Monk’s special fries, achari chicken kebab, and veg fried rice. Service is prompt, and the portion sizes are generous, making it a popular spot for those seeking bold, flavorful meals. It’s ideal for a quick bite or takeout.
The food was great. The bullet bread was tasty as well as the naan. It's a little expensive, but plenty of food, enough for leftovers for sure!
We did carryout early. Food was great. We'll be exploring the menu. Some Indian and Thai places have 5 levels of spice. They just had mild, medium, and spicy which worked for us as we like spicy but some might like more options. It was too early to judge whether they were attracting Indian customers which is a big tell for me but the place was still empty at 5:15.
Amazing curry and naan. We also tried some Chinese Szechuan noodles that were delicious. Kids meal came with so much food, such a great deal. The tika curry was smooth, well developed flavors that were not hidden behind cheap spicy add ins like so many other places. We really loved the cheese and garlic naan - came with quite a bit of naan in each order. Will come back again.
