I was surprised at the low rating but it was highly recommended from friends and I am glad we trusted their judgement because this place was incredible! The lamb vindaloo and chicken balti were outstanding.
I will promise you with some Yummy Curry!! It was my first time in the district, we were looking for Authentic Indian Curry with some meat. Because majority of the restaurant in the block were 100% vegetarian( Which we are not used to at the moment.) The price is higher than a other restaurant but this restaurant will guarantee to serve you some real good Indian food will satisfy you. I will definitely like to come back again.
One of the best Indian restaurant in Jersey City’s Indian square. Weekday buffet is $14.99 and it’s worth every penny. Naan was soft and freshly served. Huge selection of veg and non vegetarian dishes even in a weekday is wonderful. 2 desserts were available but items will differ depending on the day. Friendly staffs, awesome service. Highly recommend.
Very good Indian food and attentive staff. Also the variety of the buffet from Fridays to Sundays vary.
Nice location on the Street. Courteous staff. The food is delicious(we ordered all medium spicy). I am going to try again if I am nearby. Very reasonably priced. I couldn’t take the pic, but chicken lollypop is a must have. Chicken biryani is ok, but if you’re a Hyderabadi dum biryani lover(like me), you might want to skip that here.
I don't usually rate places on the first visit unless exceptional or terrible. The first time I came here, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful food and warm accommodating staff but decided to leave review for another day. Fast forward 2 months >> went here again yesterday and had a great experience. Everything was delicious. The choley tasted very authentic and Masala Papad too. It's such a simple and quick starting snack like we have bread with olive oil in Italian restaurant and chips in Mexican restaurants. Idk why most indian restaurants do the same. Could Improve on the following: The Aloo Papdi chaat was a little bit more sweet than it's ideally supposed to be. The yogurt and green chutey were missing from the Chaat so had to ask them to add some and bring it back. Also didn't taste much Chaat masala. Chaat for me and in my understanding is supposed to be "Khatta-Meetha" and not just sweet. Paneer Pakoda can also be more flavourful. The outside layer is quite plain. Would definitely come here again!
Really loved the food here. Some of the best Indian food we've had and we eat Indian food a lot. We are really looking forward to coming back.
