Update on the Chicken 65 Biryani below. But this is the (Panner Biryani) with chunks of cheese. Im not a big fan of the cheese, but It all had a burst of flavors. It was Mid spicey with this white sauce that I added and never got the name of it, but I used the onions as chips itself. The Cheese Nan Bread comes as 2 slices. The portion is pretty huge. With this meal being plus $20, it can still feed 2 average individuals. I do suggest getting double onions and limes along with double the white sauce. Try it cold as well. The Chicken 65 Biryani: Amazing dish be sure to stir or shake. The chicken is in the bottom, and I must say asking for 2x onions on the side used as chips, 2x limes, white sauce, and the sauce that comes with the Biryani itself. That white sauce, I believe, comes with the Panner Biryani, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Just show them the picture I got and try some bites. But if you go the 65 Biryani way, double the sauce on it.
I ordered Pavani Express for the first time today. I haven't had the pleasure of eating inside yet, but today I ordered in via Square online ordering (My delivery Driver - Fernando was great.) The Goat curry was delicious and very tender. It had the perfect amount of spice and the cheese Naan was nice and Fluffy. I ordered Chicken 65 to save for later, but it smells and looks delicious upon first impression. I will be a returning customer!
(3rd time back) Love love love this place. Ive come back 3 times this week. 😄 Chicken biriyani again with cheese Nan samosa and gulab jamun (1st review) My first time here and my first ever chicken 64 Biriyani and the bar is set high for Indian food now.
The food here is always soo good. The service is always very profesional and the food is some of the best indian food i have ever tried. I have been here a few times and have yet to try a dish that is not tasty and full of flavor. Come try this delicious food and be transported to cities of india for the evening.
The food was amazing. The ambience is like a location southindian roadside hotel. Best quality breakfast . Authentic South Indian breakfast. I personally liked idli with peanut chutney. We loved the breakfast so headed there for lunch but sadly the taste was not that great. We had chicken Manchurian and chicken 65 biryani. We ordered them spicy and the spiciness can only be seen in colour but not in taste. However, there are a lot of customers who liked their food. Was noticed many non-Indian customers and also the tables are fully booked. The location shown in Google is a but confusing and the restaurant can't be noticed in one glance as the name banner was in some corner. Definitely, a must-visit experience. 😊 Oh and I heard there is a mug in the restroom.. 🤫
I absolutely love their food. The Naan is delicious, and their lamb curry is just amazing! Everything here is delicious!
I had heard about this place from my coworkers and I finally decided to try it today. Boy were my coworkers right! The food was absolutely amazing! It's so fragrant and flavorful compared to other dishes I've had in Corpus that claimed to be "Indian". The chicken was super tender and moist, and the rice and was delicious! Be prepared to have enough rice to feed you for a two meals though, they are super generous with it! I ordered their chicken biryani with a side order of garlic Naan. The Naan was a little more expensive that I thought it would be, but it was really tasty so I don't regret it. I wasn't quite sure what do do with the two sauces they gave me, so I just poured it on the rice in separate halfs. The sauces were interesting... one was a more savory brownish/red sauce while the other was white, milky, and a bit sweet - sort of like coleslaw. The restaurant itself is very basic and humble, almost a bit sketchy looking on the outside, but don't let that put you off. The food and service was good. I had take out, so I can't speak to whether they offer any table service, but the woman behind the counter took my order and rang me up with no problems. I will definitely be coming back! It's a lovely little gem in Corpus. Update 12/16/2022: Stopped by to pick up some dinner. The woman operating the register recommended the lamb curry and she was right: it was fantastic! They still give large portions (I will probably have lamb curry for lunch tomorrow as well). My opinion of the place has not changed, it's still great! I also ordered a Lassi and it was very tasty as well. The garlic Naan is also still just as good as the last time I had it. I still recommend you try this place out for take out if you get the chance! 😋
