We tried Himalayan Curry & Grill for the first time for a special birthday dinner with some friends, and we couldn’t believe we had never heard of it before! It truly is a gem, nestled right in the middle of downtown Lancaster. We really enjoyed their Monday buffet, with unlimited food and options that suit every palate. We recommend Himalayan Curry & Grill to anyone looking for a new restaurant!
We go on Mondays for the Buffet. This includes a little but of all the best dishes Naan, chicken, curry and vegetarian options. Go any night of the week you wont be disappointed. Make sure you make a reservation or do take out because it is a very small place.
Everything about Himilayan is amazing. The food is INCREDIBLE, they substitute ingredients and customize it if you ask. They are so kind, and we absolutely love the cozy atmosphere. It is a little tight, but for me that adds to the cozy home style feel. One of our favorite restaurants in Lancaster. It is very very reasonable priced, and nice that it’s byob. We go as often as we can, and if you REALLY want a deal, go for their Monday buffet. You can’t beat it for $15. Love Himilayan!!! We are so lucky to have a restaurant like them in lanc.
This is one of my favorite places for a celebration. Make sure to get a reservation because they fill up fast. Order yourself a basket of garlic Naan, you won't regret it. All the dishes I have tried have been delicious and I'm glad they offer varying spice levels because I cannot handle spice well. The tandoori vegetables are another one of my favorites. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to eat.
This intimate place feels cozy and inviting the second you step through the door. The music and smell of spices transport you into the heart of another culture. The food is savory and well prepared. The portions are generous. The service is impeccable. 5-Stars in all categories!
This is my favorite restaurant in all of Lancaster. Such a gem. There isn’t one thing they serve that isn’t spectacular. Small place but if you get the chance. Definitely check out their buffet. The naan is incredible and the service is friendly. I love the mango iced tea as well.
I don’t have enough good things to say about Himalayan! Dining in you receive these chip/crisps with three dipping sauces. I tired them all but the green one which I didn’t get the name of was my favorite. For our appetizer we ordered the Cauliflower Manchurian and they melted in my mouth. The crispness of the fried batter but the tanginess of the sauce was an incredible combination. For our entrées my husband and I ordered the Tandoori Chicken and the Chicken Tikka and like always we were very pleased. The Tandoori chicken came out on a sizzling cast iron platter with vegetables and the chicken fell off the bone. As for the Chicken Tikka the sauce and the flavor is the best I’ve had. The Chicken Tikka is served with white rice and we ordered a side of Garlic Naan, which I can’t say enough good things about. We had absolutely no room for dessert, but the Pistachio Kulfi caught our eye. I didn’t enjoy it but that’s because I was expecting something else. I wanted it to be creamy but instead it was chalky is ways. My husband enjoyed it and easily finished it off. Just probably a preference thing. Overall give Himalayan a visit you won’t be disappointed!
