Best Indian I’ve had in Texas. Very delicious Indian. Things are very clean and not oily. Lamb was clean(trimmed the fat) and tender. We had lamb vindaloo, lamb biryani, samosas and naan. Everything was executed nearly perfectly. Buffet looked great and a very fair price. Portion size was very generous and had left overs. Oh yes, they gave me free chai, that was the excellent.
Will come back for sure. The lamb biryani was excellent and the Lamb Tikka masala was quite good with a sweet kick to it. Chicken lollipop very good and garlic Naan was solid. Highly recommend, there even chinese-indian fusion we haven't tried yet!
This is the REAL DEAL!!!!!!! Cannot believe Waco finally has a legit Indian restaurant! As soon as you enter the restaurant it takes you straight to India with the different smell of spices in the air. I have NEVER had Indian food this amazing!!!! You will not be disappointed. And if you love spicy food this is def for you! They can make your dish whatever level of spice you want or even if you don’t like spice at all they can make it mild. So in conclusion, if you would like to take a trip to India from home….. Here it is……
We ordered: Gobi Manchurian, Hakka Noodles, Aloo Chilli, Lentil Soup, Lamb Rogan Josh, and all of them were good except for the Lamb Rogan Josh. We didn't like that. The best one was the Gobi Manchurian and Hakka noodles. The only bad thing was the service, it took long time to get the foods and they gave it one by one, not together. But we went on a Sunday, and there were a lot of people waiting, so that might be the reason.
Mr raiker was the server today, and he was very kind. As soon as i walked in the door, he approached me with a smile and had me seated. The food quality was really good. I orderd chilli panneer with garlic naan, and the quantity of panneer was abundant. Definitely worth the price. I got full from these two order and did not have to order main entry. The only suggestion for the restaurant would be to improve their naan. The naan tasted really good and it was soft in the start when it was hot, but, after a few minutes, it became really hard, chewy and chrispy. Nothing wrong it, i just like my naan a bit soft. Overall, the service and taste of food was amazing. I would definitely be coming back.
Vishal Saini was a courteous server. He helped us with all the customizations we asked for. Chaat was okay okay, bhatti paneer was good and paneer kadhai was good too. Portion sizes were decent.
Wonderful new addition to Waco. Staff is friendly and anticipated our needs. Samosas were great, puff pastry was crisp and flavorful filling! Got butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and both were delicious. Naan was fresh and had a nice texture, and the mango lassi was surprisingly complex! Overall I’m thrilled to have this family-feeling restaurant in Waco.
