Absolutely loved my first experience at an Indian restaurant. We ordered the Gobi Manchurian which was very tasty as well as the sauces that were served with the Paneer Pakora. It was a great way to open up our palates for their delicious entrées. Our selection for tonight was the lamb saag which was very tender with a mild recommendation if you don't do spicy. The chicken Tikka kebab-dry was a surprise taste which did not disappoint. The portion was for this dish was very generous. Last but not least the butter chicken was well proportioned served with a very nice creamy sauce. The service was fast and served always with a smile. Great service, great food and the atmosphere wow 👌 Nothing but good things to say about our experience.
An amazing meal with a perfect ambiance and a venue with great history. Very much enjoyed meeting the owners and learning of their recommendations, which was perfect. A short trip from Wilmington, DE in a beautiful town. Planning many more meals at this restaurant with family and friends. Highly recommended! BONUS: Was easy to have a conversation at our table, not loud or echoing, which is a big bonus for me.
Went for dinner on a snowy/rainy night in December. We were seated right away probably because of the weather because I would think on a nice night this place would be packed. This was my first experience eating Indian cuisine but it won’t be my last. The food was delicious and they gave large portions. I recommend the cauliflower appetizer and bread to start and I got the assorted meats with rice 👍🏻. Service was excellent and very attentive as we as helpful with our choosing of dishes. Atmosphere is very nice because the restaurant is located in an old bank and is kept beautifully.
I was here about a week ago, I did a photo booth for a Quinceanera for Bella. Not something this establishment does often. I met the owners, very nice people, beautiful place, and the food was delicious. I had to give compliments to the chef. Loved the food, even though I was not able to have too much as the party was amazing and another party in the photo booth.
I moved here about a year ago and finally came here last week with my boyfriend. The restaurant itself is very cute inside. I love that they renovated and still kept the elements of the old building with incorporating their style into it. Food wise, it was pretty good. I read some people were saying it was bland. I don’t think spice wise it’s bland, but personally it could’ve used maybe some more salt. I’m not sure why that’s a problem for people though when there’s a salt shaker on the table and I’m sure people have salt at home. I do think it could use a little bit of improvement, but it wasn’t bad or bland by any means. They also give you food for DAYS here. For the value, this place is awesome and I’ll definitely be back!
Amazing food! Perhaps the best (north) Indian food we have had! So fresh, so non-oily. They even have tofu dishes! Really incredible and such a neat atmosphere.
This is my newly discovered Indian restaurant. I have been to several Indian restaurants in this region. I would say this is one of the best. The food comes with a big portion and tastes authentic. The Indian chefs working in the kitchen guarantee the authentic flavors of the food served here. I also learned from the waiter that this venue used to be a bank with at least one hundred years history. Check out the interior design, you will feel it is exactly where India meets the West. Highly recommended!
