Ordered delivery. Lamb korma (spice level 4 out of 6), which comes with a side of rice. Also got garlic naan. First of all, I looove spicy. But I wanted to make sure I wasn't blowing up my palette if this place took spice level seriously. I've been to a lot of places where they cater to sensitive tolerance levels. I understand it, but I've been disappointed so many times. I most definitely was not! I honestly don't think I'd go any spicier than 4 here again. If you are sensitive or want just a tiny kick, stick with level 1 or 2. If you want your sinuses cleared out, I can only presume level 6 would do just that! The flavor was phenomenal. The lamb was tender, the korma was delicious, the rice was so fluffy and not at all bland, and the naan was soft, easy to tear, and tasted wonderful. Honestly, this is probably the best Indian food I've ever had. I cannot wait to try more dishes! 10/10
I used door dash for Chicken tikki saag, level 2. It was warm, delicious 🤤 and I’m happy I didn’t pick level 3 for my inexperienced palate! Lol. Highly recommend
Very well cooked and spiced food. Great menu options and a spice level for the dishes from 1-6 (3 was pretty hot for a moderate chilli head like me, didn't go 6 on the first time!) but still flavourful. Got the set menu item with a 'sweet' (rose mater) yoghurt drink which as nice and slightly piquant too. Service with a smile and attentive but not overbearing. I liked the decor, being clean and elegant, not over the top. Good portions and the best cooked rice I've had in a while
Went a bit out of the way to try this place out. Ended up being worth it. Definitely recommend the spinach pakora, as that vegetable somehow works really well as a fried food. Lamb korma had good flavor and was relatively mild on a medium heat level. It’s notable because the tikka masala here is notably spicier at the same level, so you have to keep things like that mind. It’s generally a nice place with good service and food that I enjoyed, and I’d go again if nearby.
Ajanta is our favorite restaurant. We love the paneer tikka masala, aloo gobi, veggie samosas, malai kofta, and nav rattan korma. If we’re eating in the restaurant, we like to get the thali (thal?) on the fancy silver tray. Lol also the guy taking your order might (gently) roast you for not getting enough spicy food, but he’s funny so it’s fine. Also get a mango lassi.
We had a very nice dinner here. Every dish we tried was very good and they were friendly and welcoming.
We’ve been ordering takeout from here for a few years now, and we’ve never been disappointed! The food is consistently excellent—every single time, without fail. The flavors are always spot-on, and you can tell how much care goes into every dish. The staff are incredibly kind and always go above and beyond to provide outstanding service. It’s a rare gem where quality and customer care are truly a priority. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious and reliable dining experience!
