On our way to LA from the Bay Area, we decided to eat our lunch here since their reviews were good and they didn’t disappoint. We ordered 2 aloo parathas to begin with and they came with some butter, raita, pickles and onions requested separately. The paratha was very tasty and filling. It was enough for both of us and our kids. The sitting area is good and the location is safe as well. They have a cot under the tree and a separate sitting area as well. Would recommend this place being right on the way to/from Bay area.
Am coming from LA just stopped to fill up gas at chevron. just saw the food truck name called taste of india . I ate chana bhatura such a delicious food .people are so nice they treat you like a family member all staff member are so friendly. Highly recommended to stop at that place .
We ordered shahi paneer, saag and soya champ with paneer paratha. Amazing food, better than many bay area restaurants.
Never expected to try such a nice Indian food In the middle of nowhere. Their butter chicken and paratha are must try🙌. The price is very less for the quantity they provide.
Hidden Gem Off the Freeway – A Must-Stop for Indian Food Lovers! Stumbled upon this incredible Indian food truck just off the freeway, and let me tell you—it was an absolute game-changer. Don’t let the modest setup fool you. The flavors coming out of this truck are straight fire. Everything was made to order, piping hot, and packed with flavour. The staff was super friendly, and despite being busy, the service was fast and welcoming. Prices were reasonable, and portions were generous—great value for what you’re getting.
Awesome Place and the food tastes really good, just like home made food.. prices were reasonable. Very polite chef and the aunty who served.. highly recommend this place.. some outdoor seating like Dhaba style may be something they can think of to give a much more authentic Dhaba experience..
Oh man... that's some serious authentic Indian food. They have 'paratha'...must try. Exit 225 off I5 freeway....Bakersfield.
