They have the best lunch buffet. The quality of the food is awesome. I drive from Tucson to eat here because there are no decent Indian buffets in Tucson. It is worth the drive. They also have chai included in the buffet, which is definitely the best part as many buffets don't offer it! Nan is perfect, everything is clean, ambiance is great, and they have bollywood music videos playing. Love this place so much!
Chutney's was great but is gone. The new restaurant name is Bombay House. The new ownership and employees are very friendly and provide good service. The food is served faster now but it is a little different. Almost as good as the original Chutney recipes. The dinner buffet is a new addition. Haven't tried it yet.
The customer service I received today was beyond exceptional and it matched the high quality and flavor of the food! I believe her name was Princa, and she was as sweet as her name suggests. I mentioned that I live nearby and visit often, and she excitedly shared that the restaurant is undergoing some changes, including a name change and new menu items. She also mentioned that later this month (January 2025), they will be extending the buffet from lunch to dinner, which is great news since I absolutely love the buffet selection. I truly wish I could have given her a bigger tip—her enthusiasm, energy, and the food quality today were all outstanding. Best Indian restaurant in town!
Great place to eat . Good buffet and good ala carte. Spice levels can be customized on request so even people with mild spice levels can eat. We always order their medium spicy where the food is flavorful for us and yet not spicy. The restaurant owners are really nice and friendly people
Our favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Dosas are amazing and they do a really nice job of customizing the spice level to your tastes. Also try the tandoori murg chicken tikka masala. They bring it out on a sizzling plate and it has the most wonderful aroma to it. Weekend buffets are very good with a lot of veg and non veg choices to pick from and food is kept freshly stocked. For desserts, try the jaleebi and gulab jamun. Highly recommend.
On our way to our fav restaurant to dine in for late night dinner, we saw an open sign on chutneys Indian cuisine. Me and my friend decided to try something new and try this place we heard a lot. To my surprise even to closing time they made their effort to make whatever we ordered. Servers were so welcoming and very quick to provide an excellent service. Food was very fresh, delicious and warm. I ordered chilli chicken, chicken kadhai and tandoori naan. Oh yeah and salty lassi to die for. We were so glad to stopped at that place and will go try their buffet from 11-3 pm on weekends. Anyone who is looking for an Indian/Pakistani authentic food plz go give it a try. I’m very foodie and love trying new foods. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. They won’t disappoint you and you won’t regret going there. A must try place. 😎
This used to be my favorite place to order from but the changes you've made to the chicken 65 dish has stopped me from ordering from here. I must have spent over a thousand or two dollars on this menu item alone over the last few years. But its no longer as spicy, the portions have shrunk to the point that there must have been a change to how you want the dish served which wouldn't be so bad if you didn't stuff the bottom full of veggies to make the container appear more full. You used to fill the entire tin to the point it had some weight to it. I get inflation sucks but shrinkflation also sucks. Your foods good but there are other places offering food the way you used to do it. And every time I decide to give it one more chance it still isn't the same.
