Lalis Express Kitchen is a great spot for quick and tasty food! The menu has a nice variety, and everything I’ve tried so far has been fresh and flavorful. The portions are generous, and the service is friendly and fast. It’s perfect for a casual meal when you’re in a hurry but still want something delicious. Definitely recommend checking it out!
Surprisingly great food for a restaurant attached to a Gas station. Having grown up in Nepal, it's hard to find great Momo's in the city. These were exceptional but so was the Chicken Tikka Masala along with the other food we got. We get Indian food at least once a week and have tried lots of places. This looks like it's going to be our regular place to order from now.
We recently moved to Austin. After trying different restaurants for a long time, we found Lali Express, where we ordered puri channa and pav bhaji. The food was fantastic, and we told the owner we would definitely visit again.
A relaxed fast casual counter serve addition to the many Indian restaurants off 1431. We find this to be the ideal form of Indian restaurant for the North Austin Cedar Park Leander community offering a smaller menu and executing a few things really well at a good price. We tried the India Chinese buffet and chole bature. The Hakka noodles are outstanding. Not greasy, flavorful. I must add the batura is fried naan dough (which for those who know is not the real thing). However, it’s the most practical near match and an improvement over vast majority of Indian restaurants service puri as batura. Chhole is pretty good. Homemade seasonal pickles FTW.
Traditional Northern Indian cuisine full of flavors and no corners cut. I tried the Mutton Rogan Josh and the the Saag Paneer (which uses traditional mustard greens vs. spinach). The Mutton was out of this world! The bread(s) and rice are cooked to perfection. I even tried one of the Chicken Puffs, unfortunately I ate it before I got a pic LOL. So light and fluffy with savory chicken and seasoning inside. Great appetizer. Finished it off with a warm Chai Tea...so good. This place is going to do very well! I can't wait to try my next culinary adventure here!
Food was great and well priced. The staff were extremely kind and helpful with me ordering there for the first time
I recently visited this Lali’s Restaurant, an Indian drive-thru, and was thoroughly impressed. I tried the chicken biryani, butter chicken pizza, fried momos, and romali roti with Rogan Josh. The flavors were spot on, with the fusion dishes like the butter chicken pizza adding a creative twist. The portion sizes were generous, and the quality was excellent—all at very reasonable prices. Lali’s Restaurant offers superb food, and I’ll definitely be returning for more!
