We told the owner that we had never tried Indian, and he set us up! Everything we ate was amazing. The hospitality shown was great. The portions are huge. We’ll definitely be coming back. Shaggy did an excellent job!

Excellent Indian cuisine! We went for dinner and had the Chicken 65 for an appetizer, Coconut shrimp curry & Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic naan. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian food.

We recently visited The Curry for the first time, and was not disappointed. The dishes were wonderful and the service was friendly and helpful. I cannot wait to go back! We enjoyed the Butter Chicken and the Chicken Tikka Masala.

Wow! One of my dining out groups tried this restaurant on Friday night. The food was amazing. I got paneer tikka masala and it rivals any that I've had in Indian restaurants anywhere in the southeast. I highly recommend this restaurant. Be aware- if your group is 6 or more people they charge a gratuity. We had no problem with this except when they bring the credit card machines to the table it asks you to input your tip. We thought this was the gratuity. It's an additional tip. We asked for the manager and a young arrogant man came to our table and said it's stated on the menu. It is. In tiny print after the kids section, in an area that most wouldn't bother to read unless you had children needing food. That was a bit underhanded but then the owner who was a really nice man came and took care of us. So just be aware. We wish he had been the one who originally come to our table. The food is worth it for the visit, just be aware. Also you want the older gentleman not the kid manager.

Mouni is exceptional! Every time I come she always provides great service and recommendations. The food is always the best quality and tastes incredible! My favorite spot in Huntsville!

I can only get Indian food when I visit California so it’s nice to have something local! Indian dishes are some of my absolute favorite. This was my first time visiting The Curry in HSV and they had some really great looking dishes on the menu. I ordered a mango yogurt “shake” and OMG, it’s so good!!! It’s a bit thick to drink with your meal and going forward will order it as a dessert. For my meal I had the Dal Fry (with chicken) it was flavorful and was the perfect level of spice for what they consider mild. It’s a soupier dish that’s even better eaten with the basmati rice that comes with it. The garlic Naan bread was delish with the Dal Fry as well. My husband had the Mustard prawns and loved them. They were large shrimp with a mustard base paste served with onion on the side. We also ordered the fried okra skins as an appetizer and they were served with 2 kinds of chutney and were so good! We came on a Saturday night and they were busy but service was great! Our server was attentive and very friendly. This is my new spot to eat in HSV!

The Curry Modern Indian has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and wonderful customer service. The food is delicious! No complains. Definitely recommended! Kaki was awesome!!
