This place is amazing. All the food is VERY good and FRESH. You will also not find better prices for this kind of food anywhere with most dishes priced at $11-12 and great portions. The staff is very friendly as well and the chef is the best. This place is just all around 10/10. Recommendation: For appetizer order the gobi manchurian even if you don’t like cauliflower you will love this dish (samosa is always a good option too). Also order the chicken coconut korma it is amazing.
This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at. Whether it's take out, delivery or dine-in, it's always hot, fresh and delicious. This food is made with love. The food is like a warm hug after a rough day. I love having the option of spice level because I can only handle mild, but it is the perfect amount to make you feel warmed up. I will always recommend Sitara!
A little gem of a restaurant here in Ogden. Tucked away in a little strip Mall that is easy to access and parking is plentiful. We lived the tikka chicken masala, who doesn’t, and lived the Chicken burani that we usually do t order. The surprise f the evening was a sample they gave of of a broccoli disk called Gobi Manchurian that was fantastic. I wanted to change my order but will get it next time. We had it at a place in pheonix and was not nearly as impressed as we were in Ogden. The large naan servings are freshly made and served hot. We have been here before and will be back for sure. The only negative is that the butter chicken wasn’t as flavorful as it should be and was watery and didn’t have the buttery flavor. Interesting that the 3 and 4 star reviews all had butter chicken.
Kiante took care of us! Food is rich and authentic while also coming with the option to adapt to your spice level, without taking away from the quality of the food at all! Loved the food here, and I've had plenty of Indian food before having lived in East London. Really enjoyed trying the sweet naan too. Butter chicken is a highlight for me. Love the paneer too, and the chai!
I ordered take out for dinner and had a 20 min wait. Food and service was very good. Prices here are great. The dinner buffet was offered on Saturday night. I will definitely be back for a buffet to try more of their dishes.
From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were enveloped by the warm, inviting aroma of spices that promised an unforgettable dining experience. This Indian restaurant truly sets the bar high with its exquisite cuisine, each dish bursting with authentic flavors and meticulously prepared to perfection. The attention to detail in every aspect of their service is remarkable – from the beautifully presented plates to the knowledgeable staff who eagerly shared insights about the unique ingredients and preparation methods. The menu, rich with a variety of traditional dishes, also offered innovative fusions that intrigued our palates. We were particularly impressed by their signature biryani, which was a flavorful delight, perfectly cooked with tender, aromatic spices and meats. The naan bread, fresh from the tandoor, was the perfect accompaniment to their creamy, well-seasoned curries. Special accolades go to our server, Jove, whose enthusiasm and professionalism made our evening even more enjoyable. Jove was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and our preferences were catered to with a smile. His recommendations were spot-on, enhancing our dining experience with dishes we would not have thought to try. In conclusion, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving a truly delectable Indian meal. Whether you're a fan of fiery spices or milder flavors, there's something here to satisfy every taste bud. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect dining destination. Highly recommended for a culinary journey through the heart of India!
My feeling is that this restaurant is serves some of the best Indian Food north of Salt Lake. Really good customer service and delicious, authentic South Indian food. For people new to Indian food, I would suggest the Chicken tikka masala. My favorites are the biriyanis and fish curry. EDIT: 9/23/2022 I came across a review of this restaurant from a week ago that blew my mind and although this is not a forum for refuting reviews, I did not take to it and wanted to really clarify. I have been a customer of this restaurant for over 15 years so I know all the positives and negatives. The reviewer stated "This is a frozen Indian food has nothing to do with the taste or look, lots of sauce with perfect cube cut chicken thought was something else and probably is it’s a shame they make this kind of Indian food even the bread I guarantee you it’s frozen. Never again waist of money" This restaurant does not deal with frozen food. The kitchen staff have been with the restaurant for many years and they guy that cuts the chicken has done it so many times that he has become a pro at it. That is why the pieces are even for the most part. I mean to use that to assume that it is frozen???? Also the reviewer does not explain anything about the taste of the food but considers dining here a waste of money because of a conjecture that the food is frozen? Anyway I was permitted to step into the kitchen by the owners and chef to take some pictures of some food preparation. I just want to be clear, there is no frozen food here. Call me biased for being a long time customer here but that is what I am..........a very satisfied customer and I always keep coming back. The pictures below show preparation of Makni Sauce, The paneer (white bag), being strained and prepared (it is a multi process preparation), and tandoori chicken. Please come in and try for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
