Desi Chinese Sizzle with Spice

Tried Indo-chinese from this food truck... DESI CHINESE!! It's in Austin and I loved their food! Honestly I was so disgusted with authentic chinese food, because I don't like that blunt taste! Sometimes it's very sweet! But I got proper Indo-chinese here! I loved their manchow soup so so much! Apart from soup, I tried their veg and non-veg appetizer! We loved their veg manchurian, even if I am core non-veg! Then Sanghai rice, Chilli chicken and garlic were similar like I used to have in India..! Next week I ordered online as they were preparing American Choupsey that day... I am not a sweet lover...I like spicy dish much... so, the American Choupsey was good but acc to me, it was not the best like other Indo-chinese dishes I had! Honestly, I personally feel, this food truck needs shout-out! In wintry afternoon, u can sit under the sun and they have decorated their place in front of the truck unlike other food trucks...I loved it :) Sharing this review maintaining genuity.. it's completely based on my tastebuds 😄

Desi Chinese in North Austin is an absolute gem! The bold, flavorful fusion of Indian spices with classic Chinese dishes is nothing short of addictive. Absolutely loved the freshness and the fact that everything was cooked to order. That spice level was truly out of this world! Honestly, the only tiny thing was that the spicy cauliflower wasn't quite as fiery as I'd hoped. However, I was so grateful when the chef explained they could definitely make it spicier next time! Knowing that, I'm already planning my return. It's such a gem, especially considering it's conveniently located right next to a gas station!!

I had a delightful experience. Ordered veg manchurian 5/5, chicken lollipop 5/5, american chopsey 5/5, chicken manchow soup 5/5. The food was as good as desi chinese in Mumbai. Hands down, I enjoyed every bite filled with perfect blend of flavour, spice level. It was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

Nice little food truck with great outdoor seating. However you will need an ideal weather to enjoy the setup. Having said the lets not take away the great food they cook at this place. We loved our order of chicken lollipop chatpata which is juicy and wet and mouth watering. Chicken Manchurian was also good. Chicken Shanghai rice was ok for me.

Recently opened food truck serving indo Chinese cuisine. One of the best indo Chinese I've had in the greater Austin area! It's a food truck but the Ambience is highly inviting. There is also a little play area for kids to have fun! I'm a Vegetarian and they were able to serve me Vegetarian version of triple schezwan rice which was not even mentioned on the menu. Great service! I drove an hour to visit this place and was glad I did 😀 The veg Chinese Bhel was okay. Didn't expect it to have a sweeter tinge but nevertheless, was worth a try! If you're craving Indian style Chinese, would highly recommend..! Quantity is awesome!! My lunch for tomorrow is sorted too 😄
