Star of India Restaurant

I recently visited this restaurant during my trip from Canada, and I had a great experience! The food was delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The customer service is okay . The overall atmosphere was welcoming, making it a fantastic place to dine. I highly recommend it and would definitely visit again!

Took a chance, going for something new and although the location and first appearance of the outside wasn't all that inviting, nor the inside ...the wait time was long despite there only being a few people sitting to eat, ( around 35 min) but it seemed everything was fresh, so not really complaining 😉.We got ours to go. the food was absolutely delicious.(spicy)🙂 The portions were more than enough for two, the chutney were delicious .The price was absolutely unbelievable in this day. I Definitely will be back! 🙂 Next time will definitely take advantage of the full case of authentic pastries,I had no idea of what was what, but they all looked very fresh and inviting. This is a small hidden gem with cheap, authentic, delicious Indian food. I've been here twice so far and I'm looking forward to visiting again. Best Indian food I've had and strongly recommend to those who have never had or are looking for something better. I will say, service wasn't great on my first visit (we didn't get our drinks until after our food arrived, and we had to ask for them again), but the food is worth it. It's more of a casual sit-down place and nothing luxurious for like a nice date, but definitely a good place to take family or friends out to enjoy a good meal during the day. They also do carry-out.

Anytime me and my wife come to Yuba City this is our go to place for Indian food! I used to not be the biggest fan of this type of food but now that I am I love this place. Great flavors in all the dishes. My wife loves to get the chicken jal frezi, and this last time I got the chicken saag. Then we got garlic naan. Everything was sooo good

This is the MOST delicious Indian food in the area. We LOVE the chicken tikamasala.

The food here was amazing. Everything was seasoned pefectly. The portions were great and the service was perfect. I would definitely recommend. We will be going back. Even thinking about having them cater our wedding vowel renewal.

We were driving by Yuba city when we discovered this place. One of the best Indian foods we have eaten in an Indian restaurant for a long time. Shahi Paneer is just amazing. We ordered almost all Paneer dishes, Dal makhani and Malai Kofta. Everything is authentic Indian food and is super delicious. I would highly recommend this place.
