Nepalese/Indian. Great variety of options. Fair priced menu. The food was great and looking forward to checking out more options. Lunch combos is a great deal and must try momos!
My husband and i had this craving of having samosa for so long. We thought of trying some food here. But we were amazed for the freshly cooked food and the deliciousness. Felt awesome to have the food here.
Somehow did not know about this place within three miles of home but I'm glad I've finally corrected. Great layout, great selection, extremely friendly and helpful staff -- I was looking for dried methi and the Keeper gave me a quick interview, found out I needed fresh methi which they didn't have but directed me frozen methi instead. On the food side of things everything was fresh and tasty-- I got bindi and roti and chicken-- and I was well impressed by the stream of takeout orders, which showed how popular this place is. Prices are pretty reasonable, too
This is one of my favorite spot for lunch and dinner. My one of the favorite is Nepalese-Tibetan style chicken dumplings(momo) and Chowmein. Their lunch combos are pretty cheap and rich in nutrition. I have also tried Chicken Tikka masala and Chicken curry and that was pretty good than other indian restaurant. Overall, great place to have a Nepalese and Indian Style food.
Consistently some of the best samosas I've had in LA. The paneer pakoras are also very tasty. However the rest of the menu can be hit or miss - for example i had to add cream to the matar paneer at home as it wasnt creamy at all, just very tomatoey. Chicken is sometimes great, sometimes dry. The palak paneer is also sometimes lacking in cream, other times it's been perfect. The market has everything you would need for any indian meals you'd like to make! Hard to find staples like asafoetida, ajwain, kashmiri chili powder, besan, chaat masala, fenugreek, etc. Lots of frozen paratha/naan options, frozen & fresh paneer, snacks, & ghee, among other things. Def come check it out if you love & appreciate Indian food as much as I do :)
Very delicious curry. I love the samosas there! It’s only open for lunch time fyi. Not available during dinner hours.
Great food, friendly host and good atmosphere. Recommend this eating establishment for authentic Indian food. Try the samosas and tea my favorite. Tasty chicken Biriyani!
