This is hands down the best Indian Dhaba-style food I've had in all of New Jersey. Every dish we tried was absolutely phenomenal—the Double Dal Tadka was rich and flavorful, the Goat Curry was tender and perfectly spiced, and the Tandoori Chicken was smoky and juicy. The Tandoori Roti had that authentic charred flavor you can only get from a real tandoor, and the Biryani was aromatic, perfectly cooked, and bursting with traditional spices. What made the experience even more special was the warm, homely atmosphere. All the staff are family members, and their hospitality makes you feel like you're dining at a relative’s home in Punjab. Sigh Saab, the owner, personally came over to check on us and make sure everything was to our satisfaction—a rare and thoughtful touch that added to the experience. This place is a hidden gem and an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves Dhaba-style food. Whether you're a fan of hearty North Indian dishes or just craving an authentic Punjabi meal, you won't be disappointed.
This place is such a hidden gem! The owners were the sweetest people, and the food was SPOT on. Usually Indian food is made on the bland side to cater to larger audiences, but the spice level on the dishes we got was just what we needed and asked for. Quantity was standard for an Indian place, but the food was worth it. Check out Singh’s kitchen and support our local businesses! It’s hard to find genuine flavor nowadays :)
A heartfelt thank you to the owner for creating such an amazing dining experience. If you’re looking for a place that treats you like family and serves exceptional Indian food, Singh's Kitchen is the place to be. A major highlight is their attentiveness to dietary needs. My wife has a tree nut allergy, and Mr. Singh consistently ensured that his meals are safe and delicious. Their dedication to customer care is truly commendable. Singh's Kitchen is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm ambiance and friendly staff that make you feel like family. The food is spectacular, with standout dishes like lamb chops, naan, and malai tikka bursting with rich, authentic flavors.
Came here with my partner and her friend after an excursion we undertook and we were all ravenous to say the least. The outstanding reviews of this location speak for themselves. We were immediately greeted by the lovely owners and after about 10 minutes following the food coming out, the chef himself blessed us with his presence and inquired about our thoughts on the meal. Everything was exquisite, tasted excellent, and the service and atmosphere were tremendous as well. If I could rate this restaurant with a higher review and more stats I would. I definitely recommend it to anyone in the area looking for authentic and delicious Indian cuisine!
Absolutely wonderful Indian food close to the BAPS temple. We chose to come here after driving to the temple and so glad we did. Authentic, flavorful Indian food at a reasonable price. And the owners came out to greet us and wish my father a happy birthday. Will recommend this place 10/10 times.
Local Treasure: A Heartwarming Experience at Our Neighborhood Indian Restaurant I discovered a wonderful local Indian restaurant today that truly embodies the spirit of community dining. This family-owned establishment stands out not just for its delicious food, but for the personal connection that makes dining here special. The owner, who is also the chef, exemplifies genuine hospitality. During my visit, he took time to personally greet diners and share his story. His passion for cooking and dedication to serving the community shines through in every interaction. It's refreshing to find a restaurant where the owner takes such pride in both the food and making guests feel like part of the family. The food was excellent, prepared with authentic Indian spices and techniques. Each dish demonstrated the chef's expertise and commitment to quality. What makes the experience even more special is knowing that these recipes come from years of dedication to the craft of cooking. The welcoming atmosphere makes this restaurant feel less like a business and more like being invited into someone's home. The owner's friendly demeanor and personal attention to guests creates a warm, inviting environment that perfectly complements the delicious food.
I found this gem while visiting the temple in NJ. All I can say the owner is so welcoming. We felt like we were visiting a family place. We shared life experiences and not to tell you that how delicious the food was. We ordered butter chicken mango lassi goat curry with garlic naan. We had an amazing service and great experience. Sometimes fancy restaurants don’t give you personalized attention. I wanna say thanks to the owner I wish you good luck and your business will keep on flourishing. Btw we are the group that came in around 7:30 and my friend was from ON Canada.
