Had a great experience at Saffron! We tried a wide variety of dishes — panipuri, pakoda, kurkure bhindi, veg chowmein, chicken drumstick, veg and chicken biryani, and chicken thalis. Overall, the food was flavorful and satisfying. The biryani was a bit too oily for our taste, but everything else was delicious, especially the kurkure bhindi and the masala chai — the chai was a real standout! Even though we arrived close to their afternoon closing time, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The service was warm, and the washrooms were clean and well-maintained. Definitely a good spot for flavorful Indian food with great hospitality!
This place is amazing, the food always delivers, but it’s the service that makes a difference. If you’re lucky to have Bose as your server, he’ll make your experience unique. Please tell him about your like and dislikes and he’ll make the experience unique to you. I can’t wait always to come back!
A great place for lunch or dinner! The food was delicious, especially Butter Chicken, I also loved the rose lassy! The food was served fast, the waiters were super friendly! Will definitely visit again! By the way, they also have plenty of vegetarian options!
This was some of the most flavorful food I’ve had in a while! It was my first time here, and I went with mild-medium spice mom’s curry. The chicken was so soft and moist and the curry had a great depth of flavor. The momo with dipping sauce was also delicious. This will definitely be in my rotation from now on.
The food was wonderful! Our server, Ashish, was very kind and attentive. Will definitely be back!
I visited Saffron during a trip from Dallas to Austin and was thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious—rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. Every dish I tried felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. The service was equally outstanding; the staff was attentive, welcoming, and happy to offer recommendations. The ambiance added to the experience, making it a fantastic spot for lunch. If you're in Austin and craving high-quality Indian food, Saffron is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!
Lovely place with awesome Indian/Nepali food. We ordered chilly momos and saffron mutton. The mutton was good but had very little gravy. The momos were lovely. Customer service was excellent and we would definitely be back.
