I ordered enough for a small army of men, so trust me when I say the food slaps so hard. The restaurant is so good and so FRESH! Everything you can tell is made to order, fresh ingredients, and the food is spicy when you ask for extra spicy!!!! Naan is buttery, samosas are giant, korma was rich and absolutely magnificent. Our Hampden neighbors need to do better and stop sleeping on this spot.
I stopped at this quiet, serene destination on my way back to Philly. Both the service and food were quality. The hostess was kind, thoughtful, and attentive. And the food was wonderful, unsurprisingly. The Everest momos are a delicious curiosity. Consider, if you will, one of the best Chinese dumpling you've ever eaten, with a soft, warm, pillowy & flavorful wrapper; then fill it with curried chicken, and dip it in an deep orange-colored sauce of rich earthy spices. A new, yet familiar taste. Intriguing. And the mulligatawny soup went perfectly with the naan sampler (they were all fabulous). My only complaint: why aren't there more people!? This place is excellent. C'mon everyone, get those good-lookin cheeks in these smooth comfy seats. Fill this place up, because it needs to stay!
The owner is very friendly and open to help you find the your happiest meal. The flavors are incredibly subtle and devine. The seasonings are masterfully created and it is obvious with each bite.
Ten out of ten. Flavors and textures on point. The kashmiri naan is such a treat and if you make a sandwich with the naan, lamb from the kebab platter, rice, and some saag paneer, it's absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back whenever I have a craving!
New to the area and looking for a good Indian restaurant. Mount Everest didn't disappoint! The lamb saag was wonderful. The chicken tikka masala was perfect and the onion kulcha was the best I've ever had. (I've eaten Indian food all over the world). Never had momo before and really enjoyed them. Try this restaurant if you are close by.
Got takeout with a group of 4 of us. It was hot and delicious and perfectly spicy. I ordered the Mt. Everest Chicken Saag, and I would highly recommend it.
Fantastic restaurant with authentic food. Also large portions. Restaurant has nice decor with exposed bricks and tin ceiling.
