We just found out about this place about 10 days ago and we've eaten there 3 times. Twice my husband brought takeout and the third time we dined in. There was even enough Veggie Biryani for lunch the next day. The waitress was super sweet and the food was delicious! She said she was from Nepal and that is why they have such an extensive menu. This is our new favorite place! You can also get gas, pick up lottery tickets, and buy your favorite candy or soda while there. They even have Zero bars (my favorite from childhood).
Now here me out, yes it's in a gas station but it was clean. I got my food to go and chatted with one of the owners he was so incredibly sweet and helpful and patient with me as I took a minute to figure out what I wanted. We need more food like this in Southern Indiana. This was worth the 25 min drive for me. Food was fresh, perfectly spiced, and the portions are generous. I will definitely be making the drive again!
Amazing lunch buffet! The owners are very friendly and happy and it's one of the only places in the greater Louisville area that still has an Indian lunch buffet!
Great experience with a to go order today. Got the makhani paneer and saag paneer, both delicious. Will be back thank you!
We’ve been wanting to try Lebrang for a while and finally decided to make the drive to Charlestown. The food was as good as what we were hoping it would be! Taste, spice level and food quality were all excellent. It was ready quick and still very hot when we got it back home 20 minutes later. We’ll definitely be back.
Wonderful! Everything my family tried was delicious. They ask what spice level you’d like on your dish. Fair prices, large portions. Staff was very nice. The space itself is small not many tables but plenty of space between them.
So glad I discovered Leb Rang Indian Restaurant right up the road from me in Charlestown! Over the years, I’ve frequented many Indian restaurants throughout Louisville, so I consider myself somewhat of an expert. The owner Kim was super-friendly, the food is delicious, the portions are huge, and the prices are just right. I ordered the samosas and veggie biryani, and everything was delish. I took mine to go, but they have several tables for dine-in seating. If you’re afraid that Indian food might be too spicy for you, never fear; I always get mine “mild” and never have a problem. I’ll definitely be back!
