Every time I come to eat here I am blessed by its intimate, peaceful and homely setting. The food is always so warm and hearty, Itβs the perfect way to end a week. The service is impeccable and the warm greetings from the owner/chef Always adds a nice touch that sets this dining experience apart from all the rest! The food is always so fresh and delicious. The prices are beyond reasonable. Itβs a quite little place tucked in a little corner of Nashville and I am grateful as Iβm sure many others are to enjoy Authentic Indian cuisine the way it is meant to be enjoyed.πππ
This place is amazing! The service was incredible. I walked in to order to go, so I waited inside and he brought me a glass of water. No other place has done that while I wait for food. It was a lovely touch. The food was well priced for the amount. I got an entree, naan, and one appetizer and could only eat half. So I have a meal for later. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. It only took about 10/15 minutes to prepare. Super worth it. I definitely recommend this place! Also, here's a picture of my cat trying to get the crumbs out of this bag. π€£ She loved the naan bread too. β¨
Dine in for a nice relaxing meal, take some to go or order to go. Make it as hot or mild as you request. Always tasty food. Alex is a very good host/manager, very friendly. Sign up for occasional discount codes, when you visit the first time. ππ Oh So Tasty and I would say, the Best Indian food around. Always free and hot. Service with a smile. π Aloo Gobi, Lentil soup &. Pakora (submerged in soup is yummy!)!
I came in on a random Google search on my way home. Starving, and almost foaming at the mouth angry. As soon as I stepped into this establishment, it melted and I was drawn to the back where the Buffet sat by my nose. The server/host was very kind and allowed me to look before I just had to get a plate to go. The buffet has a little bit of everything it seems, and I was so excited to try the Gulab Jamun, It was like a delicious little dense cake soaked in syrup and the perfect mouth full. This meal brought out my ancestors and by the time I finished with this box I had to completely abandon my fork in favor of the naan. My tummy is so happy, and even though a few things were a little spicy it's nothing the Lassi couldn't fix. Almost forgot, my to go plate for the buffet was $14.99, and I thoroughly believe I got my money's worth 10/10 to this small business, staff working hard, food tastes better than it smells and I would not have thought that possible at first. Thank you!
I seldom write reviews, but the incredible service my boyfriend and I received last night compelled me to write this one. We have dined in a few times, ordered takeout once or twice, yet the man who waited on us - I believe he was the owner - remembered us from previous visits and welcomed us back! He was attentive and friendly, checking on us often as we dined. My husband ordered the chicken curry this time, and I had the chicken biryani. Chicken breast is hard to perfect, but theirs is never dry! In the past we've also ordered the lamb biryani and the chicken tikka, both of which were amazing and memorable. Every time we go, the food is fantastic and arrives quickly, the rice is fresh, the dishes are beautifully staged, and the portions are generous! Atmosphere is relaxed and lowkey, but fancy enough for an anniversary date or birthday. Entrees for two, plus an order of their heavenly garlic naan, cost us just over $40, including the tip - a huge bargain by today's standards, especially considering the portion sizes. We usually have enough left over to take home for lunch the next day; last night we came hungry and cleaned our plates! I think the host may have been a little surprised at how fast we ate! I'd highly recommend this place to anyone with a hankering for authentic Indian cuisine. We will most definitely be back soon! Five stars all around!
UPDATE: It seems as though the chicken biryani recipe has changed. Last time my husband and I ate there, the biryani had much less chicken than before and the cucumber raita was more like a garlic yogurt. Definitely not what we are used to tasting at this establishment. This is unfortunate because we would drive almost an hour to this restaurant faithfully for the last 4 years because their food was so good! Iβm not sure whatβs going on but my husband doesnβt want to come back here. I hope all goes well with their new changes. β¦β¦. This place has the most delicious Indian food in Middle Tennessee! I drive 55 minutes to come here many times. My favorite thing to order is the vegetable samosas and the chicken biryani! And they are always kind when I eat in the restaurant! I highly recommend this place if you havenβt tried it yet!
We had a wonderful and relaxing hot meal on a cold winter night here. The food is so flavorful and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Prices are reasonable with very generous portions, we left with food for tomorrow too. We will definitely be back!!
