Saffron Indian Cuisine

My wife and I had ordered carry-out a while back and had a disappointing experience, which led me to originally leave a two-star review. To summarize, there were some communication issues and online menu issues (which have since been resolved) and I thought I would be charged less than I was, as well as was disappointed in the quality of the food. As a result of my original review, the owner emailed me and apologized for the experience we had and offered a free meal to my wife and me. We took the owner up on the offer and ate at the restaurant for lunch today. We ordered chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken. The server went out of her way to make sure everything was good and even brought out an extra order of roti as well as a dessert at the end of the meal. The food quality was better during this visit as well. Thank you to the owner, server, and kitchen staff for a free meal, excellent service, and good food! The fact that they are willing to do this seems to show that they are a small business that really care about their customers. My wife and I greatly appeciate it and would recommend others give this restaurant a try!

Our family came for dinner and ordered some different dishes. My parents are not good with (hot) spicy food so they ordered level 1 spicy and it was perfect for them. My husband and I like it hotter so we ordered 3&4 but next time we will order 6 because we noticed the food came very mild. It was still very delicious we just recommend to order some green chilies and onions to give some heat 🔥. 😋 We will FOR SURE be back and bring many friends. The service was very nice we had two servers who came to us for all of our needs and explained menu items and any questions we had. They were both very nice. The menu is pretty large with many vegetarian options. I personally ordered paneer makhani and it was so tender and creamy. My family got some chicken and shrimp dishes and again, the chicken so tender and the gravies for everything were plentiful and flavorful! Also 1 order will feed 2 people!! You get SO MUCH FOOD for 1 order. We all had to eat half and take home the qother half. 😂 One of the best items would be their tandoori roti and naan (many flavors we got an onion and a garlic naan along with a plain naan and a roti and all were delicious!!) They have some nice dessert options as well. The set up of the restaurant is AMAZING it's a great hang out spot with an upper level, lower level and outdoor seating! It's very beautifully designed and I can just tell it's going to be an amazing spot for families of all types to come and enjoy. Thanks so much for being open!

Very happy with the food and service. Things on the menu I’d not seen before, two of which were Baingan Pakora Chaat (deep fried eggplant slices layered with yogurt and chickpea sauce, a beautiful dish that tasted as good as it looked, photo) and butterscotch ice cream. Great Indian south of Lebanon. Worth a visit.

We got food for takeout and it was so good! We got chicken tikka masala, saag paneer and chicken rogan josh, plus some appetizers and desserts - all of it tasted amazing! There was enough for two meals for 3 adults. We live close by so everything was still hot and delicious when we got it home. Everything was well packed. My husband picked up our order and reported back that the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated inside so we might try eating in next time! Definitely will be back and glad to have Indian food so close by!!

Clean and new indian place, portions very generous, tried the various naans, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, and the saffron special curry goat and shrimp, they were all good. Tried spice levels from 1 to 4, 6 is the hottest, if I would go back I would get a 6. 4 wasn't runny nose territory.

Prices are a bit higher than in most Indian places service really needs work, but the food is the star of the show and amazing.

Hidden gem, highly recommend! Plenty high protein options, and flavors out of this world! Can order ahead and enjoy the meal inside or take out. Beautiful patio sitting area adds to the experience. 5+
