absolutely love Indian food! One day, while craving chicken tikka masala, I discovered Famous Tandoori on DoorDash. I decided to place a pickup order and got the chicken tikka masala, white rice, garlic naan, and vegetable samosas. They were incredibly fast, letting me know my order would be ready in just 15 minutes. By the time I left home and found parking, my food was already prepared. Located on the busy stretch of PCH, Famous Tandoori is easy to find, with parking available both in front and in the back. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by the rich aroma of spices and freshly cooked food. The staff welcomed me right away and handed me my order. When I got home, my food was still hot and steaming. Everything was absolutely delicious! The chicken tikka masala was creamy and tender, the garlic naan was flavorful and perfect for dipping, and the samosas were crispy and packed with bold flavors. Famous Tandoori has definitely become my go-to spot when Iβm craving Indian food!
Amazing food selection. I love the Dal, Aloo Gobi and Roti. Actually I love nearly everything. The spices are just right and the dal is so creamy. I don't eat meat so this spot has soooo many choices for me. I take it to go so I can have a cup of chai as I wait π
The entrance to parking for famous tandoori is directly underneath the giant sign. I accidentally parked in the neighboring parking lot and it's much less inviting there. A couple things I learned walking in here on a whim, the curry doesn't come with a side, you'll need to order rice or naan on the side. I recommend the garlic naan which had the perfect texture. The green sauce is absolutely delicious. I'm not sure what it is but I am sure I can probably just drink it as is and wash it down with naan. I got the lamb tikka which tasted great. Would recommend this spot
Impressive place here in California, i was wondering what they have to offer and its really delicious. The service is the quickest Iβve seen in Indian restaurants, within 10 mins food was on the table, delicious selections, we ordered several plates to see whatβs this place all about and it didnβt disappoint. I do recommend this place, plates are relatively inexpensive, $10 to $12 a plate, try the chicken 65, the portions really worth it. Head over there for yourself!
Food is good here, the tikka masala is flavorful and probably some of the best Iβve tried anywhere. The chicken Sheekh kabab roll was so good and perfect for sharing since they cut it in half. The beef samosas with the mint chutney were also very good appetizers.
I have visited many restaurants, but I will say that this one has the most delicious tika masala I have ever tried.
This place is small but very quick and good service. In 10-15 they served the food. Tea is free! Thats something I loved it. Chicken 65 is super delicious. Samosas for appitizer is must. Also aalo gobi is my favorite. We will definitely come back!
