This is a regular restaurant with self service, serves yummy and fresh South Indian food with very pocket friendly prices. We love there going often. Weekends are very busy and it’s a little difficult to find parking but food is worth it.
Has been our goto Dosa place since moving to NJ in 93. Simplistic. No frills. Order. Sit down. Wait for your number. Get up. Grab food and enter bliss. The most tasty and delicious dosa in the north east. Sambar is near perfection. Perfect pricing and portions. We have numerous places near us and I’d still choose here for the price, taste and portion size.
Delicious, affordable food with no frills. A great place to go with a large group. There is definitely a language gap between patrons and the restaurant staff. My wife asked the manager, “which appetizer do you recommend?” His response, “I don’t know I just work here.” I found it comical.
Considering the Island location, this is one of the best spots for south Indian food lovers.
Great experience. Good service and delicious taste. Not to mention reasonable price.
Hey Dosa Express Team, green Street, Amazing taste, perfect food quantity and great quality . Specially the chilly rava masala dosa and Bissibellibhat. After long time got the Chennai taste in New Jersey Perfect place for family of 2 to 15 . Will definitely visit again
I used to go to Dosa Express, Parsippany for more than 6 years. It was a huge disappointment when they closed their Parsippany branch. But.. my wife and I went to this Dosa Express branch yesterday for the first time. I must say that we enjoyed the taste just like how it use to be. If you’re from Karnataka or ever want to taste an authentic Mysore or Karnataka style food; this is your place to visit. You’ll taste an authentic, homemade style food here. If you’re new and wondering what to have? Just blindly try anyone from their menu. You’ll be amazed. People who run this place are very friendly including the uncle who helps in keeping the tables clean. Don’t forget to try Holige/ Poli as a dessert.
