The place is quite small, so come early or late, because there will be a wait otherwise. This is because the food is just incredible. They might have the best onion bhaji in the region. The spice level is appropriate, although I should have grabbed a level gihigher for my taste. Service is personable and professional.
This is our favorite Indian spot. Not cheap, but high quality, great service. These are just some examples of dishes we get. Their Naan bread (garlic & reg) are addictive. The sauces rich and delicious. The chicken is always white chicken with no "weird parts" thrown in. Very lean. We don't go as often as we'd like cause it's about $60 for 2 ppl. (Including tax & tip).
A very nice cosy restaurant with very friendly service and excellent food. We enjoyed the spiciness of all the dishes, which was right every time. The tables are arranged to give you good privacy, even though the main room is not large. A very good experience!
Visited India Oven as we were traveling to Palm Desert to pick up a musical instrument from service. Clean Indian food! Loved the old school 80’s home ambience. Accurate spice levels and very flavorful. The paneer-mushroom makhani was a delight. First time I’ve tasted this combo. Would highly recommend
My husband and I are on our way to San Diego from Sedona and stopped overnight in Cathedral City. I was craving Indian food and found Indian Oven across our hotel. The food was excellent, and we shared a bottle of wine. When I told our waiter I couldn't have dairy, he told me my dish could be made with coconut milk. I was delighted. I recommend this restaurant.
We've been wanting to try it for a while now. We should have sooner! Very traditional, service was great. We'll be back soon.
I can tell this restaurant is full of old customers that have came here for several times and I personally would definitely come here again if I live here. We ordered chicken masala, butter chicken and garlic naan which the awesome waitress recommended. All of them taste super authentic. The only thing I wish could improve is the chicken itself bc it was a bit tough. But overall, the Indian music, friendly waitresses and waiters, awesome Indian curry and garlic bread, everything seems perfect!!
