Super nice place! The food was amazing all around from starters to the mains. The bread is great and is a must get. The Indian beers they also have are worth trying and add a little extra to the meal. Quality service as well. The ambiance was great, very casual and relaxed. Good place for friends or family. Probably one of the best Indian places in south Orange County. Highly recommended coming to this place and trying a little of everything. You won't be disappointed! Some of the most traditional tasting Indian food I've had.
I moved to Lake Forest a few years back and have been looking for a good Indian restaurant, and this is it! Ambiance is classy and inviting, employees are nice and accommodating, and the food is excellent! Give it a try!
I’m not very experienced in a whole lot of Indian food. I’ve been to maybe 4-5 restaurants. This place is my favorite so far! The staff is very friendly and inviting. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed. The food is amazing!!! If it’s authentic or not I’m not to sure since I’ve never been to India, but this food is fire. I’ve been to this spot about 3 times and every time the food has been on point. For the price you sure get a lot. I usually have some leftovers for lunch the next day. I live 50 miles away and come here every time I’m in the area. If you’ve never had Indian food you can always ask for suggestions from the server. They are always willing to help you find a tasty meal.
This is my 4th time coming here. Their food is sooo good 😊 Every I came here, I wrote a review but they seemed to have disappeared so I’m writing a new one. I ordered the chicken biryani because my server Amid recommended it. Amid was very courteous and attentive. If you like Indian food, this is one of the best 😋
Came in for the lunch menu. 2 items w/rice, both chicken, both in a sauce, both unique and tasty 😋 Included with the Lunch Special is naan (2 pieces). I went plain, but they do have options. Service: pleasant service with a smile.
I used to have a lot of prejudices about Indian cuisine. I was particularly apprehensive about the abundance of spices and curry. I can confidently say that this place shatters all stereotypes. The ingredients harmonize beautifully, and the dishes will even appeal to those who don't enjoy culinary experiments. Most dishes from the main menu will look visually similar to each other. The meat will resemble a stew, incredibly tender and well-cooked, accompanied by plain rice and flatbreads. For appetizers, you can try something like meat pastries. They contain spices and are slightly salty, but when you taste them with one of the two sauces, they transform into a completely different flavor. The place is fantastic, and the people working there are very pleasant.
Everything we’ve tried here is amazing. Staff is very kind and attentive. They’re always bringing us samples of new dishes from their menu as we wait for our meal. Good food, good people. Highly recommend eating here!
