I got two of the Sri Lankan vegetarian curry and rice plates. Absolutely incredible! I was blown away. I have never had Sri Lankan food before until tonight. I didn’t know what to expect and it is amazing! If you are a vegetarian looking for some delicious and spicy food, this is your spot! The portions are huge for just $15. It is absolutely fantastic quality and taste. I tipped $10 on top because they went above and beyond. The family is so sweet, they were so patient and kind. I am very grateful for the time they put in. I will definitely be returning. This place is great!
Good value for money. The food is delicious. We tried a Sri Lankan dish. It was wonderful. You will get the real authentic Sri Lankan taste. However, their main focus is Indian cuisine. The staff is friendly.
Hidden gem in LA serving authentic Sri Lankan food. Tried their Kottu, Egg hoppers, String hoppers and they were in very good quality and taste. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try real Sri Lankan food.
The food was amazing. This is a mom and pop shop. They don't speak English so we ordered by speaking to their son over the phone. They were very friendly and warm via facial expressions. The flavors were so unique, authentic and developed with skill. The components of each dish were so finely chopped. If you're a foodie, recommend. If you're looking for a romantic date spot with constant wait service, probably not your place. I look forward to going back.
Finally found THE BEST SriLankan food in town. Food is amazing and the service is excellent. Nirosha is an excellent cook and if you’re looking for authentic/Best SriLankan food here’s the pace. Rice and curry is so so good and takes me back home to SriLanka. ❤️ Don’t forget to try those hot patties!! Heaven
I recently got food from here and for an appetizer i got the samosas. The samosas were so good. As my entrée I had the Chicken Tikka Masala Combo (pictured). It was nice and creamy and very flavorful. I would definitely get food from here again. You definitely get more than what you pay for, and that is always a plus.
EXCEPTIONAL 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was here with a party of 3 for dinner on 11/13/23. Walk-ins were welcome, reservations not needed (but you may call ahead because there are only 3 tables available for dine-in). Free parking in front of the restaurant and plenty of street parking around. This is an authentic Sri Lankan restaurant with a friendly Sri Lankan owner and chef. They serve amazing Sri Lankan food (and traditional Indian food). I tried the Fried Rice, Sri Lankan “Rice and Curry” Plate, Lamb Biriyani, Fish Curry, Vegetable Curry, and Chicken Curry. An individual rice dish is enough for 3 people (but we didn’t know that when we ordered three rice dishes and we ended up having leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day). The curries had that authentic Sri Lankan taste to it. Food was less oily than at other restaurants (making it healthier). This place is in high demand on Ubereats/DoorDash because there were so many drivers that walked in to pick up orders while we were dining. There aren’t any Sri lankan restaurants on the east side so I highly recommend hidden gem!
