I love the place! I come here with my friend all the time!! The food never disappoints! I love the bar atmosphere! They have lots of chicken and lamb options. I love to come here for dinner. Really good Indian food!!

Urban Tandoor never disappoints! I recently tried their Chicken 65 Biryani, and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were rich, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the rice had the right amount of spice and aroma. What I love even more is that they adjust the spice level according to your preference — whether you want it mild, medium, or extra spicy, they get it just right. The service was friendly and fast, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. Definitely one of the best spots for Indian food around. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely experience at this restaurant tonight. First, the ambience is lovely. Very well designed. Low lights. Beautiful music. Second, the team is lovely. We worked with John tonight. He was kind, considerate and attentive without being overbearing. He also knew the menu incredibly well and was able to answer our questions. Finally, the food is great. I love Indian food but prefer to eat the food mild. It's rare when a restaurant can accommodate my needs, and this restaurant absolutely did. The food was deliciously mild without compromising seasoning. We particularly enjoyed the Butter Chicken and Gobi. Highly recommend.

I came across this place when I was looking for an Indian restaurant to go to, this place (Was one of the first ones to come up as the best Indian restaurant in New Jersey,) so I went and checked it out. The place is really cool, It stands out with its ambience, And all the food tastes authentic, especially the chicken 65 biryani, and lamb chops. (All the reviews were saying that people come from across the state to get that). Drinks are also great, Couple friends and I got the Urban Negroni and Lychee Martini. Dessert is also good, but we had to get a couple as they are a bit small, they had Gulab Jamun and a Rasmalai Tres Leches that both tasted nice, and fitting because we were celebrating a birthday. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend visiting the restaurant.

Absolutely loved the Hello Lichee mocktail and Schezwan egg noodles – great picks suggested by Swetha! Big shoutout to both Swetha and Sylas for the amazing service. The calm vibe, cozy lighting, and chill atmosphere made it even better. Only drawback is the digital Menu which took long time to load due to poor network coverage inside.

We had a quick stop over at Newark on our way to Myrtle Beach. Based on the reviews we stopped by for lunch & to our surprise both food & ambience was great. We had ordered butter chicken and naan my little one & chicken biryani for us, it was yummy. I also ordered chicken manchow soup which was just ok.

The food at Urban Indian Food was absolutely delicious each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices that made every bite unforgettable. From the rich, creamy curries to the freshly baked naan and aromatic rice, everything was prepared with care and attention to detail. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were generous, making it a satisfying and flavorful experience that left me wanting to come back for more.
